patiirc Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 I read the Alan Dean Foster Alien books as part of my dissertation, and they were alright. I've read some of the Battlestar Galactica ( admittedly TV) novels as well and they are pretty cack to be honest. I like the idea that films are novelised and can expand on what was on screen.
