Everton 2 Torquay 0

Scorers..... Edinson Cavani, Fabio Coentrao

Hard fought win to get the fans off rohpetes back after a run of bad results. Both teams battled non stop in a back and forth game and could of gone either way. Hopefully i can get my season back on track before the games run out

Transfer Window closed

Also:

Arsenal 5 - 0 Torquay

Rooney (7, 45'), Van Persie (37', pen 77'), Agger (60')

Clinical finishing the difference. Result flattered Arsenal as The Gulls didn't deserve to lose by five but Arsenal did just edge it overall, though could have been level at half time.

Arsenal v Aston Villa

Brisbane v Bohemians

Fiorentina v Wolves

Liverpool v Middlesbrough

Norwich v Everton

Torquay v Man Utd

Week 7 remainders:

Liverpool v Brisbane Roar

Man Utd v Aston Villa

Middlesbrough v Bohemians

Bohemians v Fiorentina

Norwich v Brisbane

Week 6 remainders (last week for this):

Fiorentina v Aston Villa

Notes:

The table has been updated and is on the first post.

Liverpool still top the league with an eight point lead over second place Wolves who move up to second. Man Utd drop to third after losing against the leaders and having their TapOut victory removed but do have a game in hand on Wolves. Arsenal move up to fourth after playing their games in hand whilst Brisbane stay fifth. Despite an encouraging performance against Torquay, Middlesbrough are still bottom with the teams above opening a six point gap.

There's some decent fixtures this week, with Arsenal v Wolves the pick of the fixtures that could affect things near the top. Arsenal have been in good form this week and Wolves need to keep winning to have any hope of keeping in second or catching carmella. Everton got back in the swing of things this week and will hope to end Liverpool's 100% record as they face each other in the second Merseyside derby this season. Torquay will be looking to get revenge on Brisbane for their 9-2 thrashing earlier in the season, and Brisbane also face Bohemians in what's bound to be a good game.
