The bad news when it comes to the health of several pro wrestlers over the past week continued as Jacques Rougeau, 51, confirmed in an article at Quebechebdo.com that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is currently going to get more testing to see if the original diagnosis is correct, but was told his prostate is the size of a grapefruit.

Update:

Jacques Rougeau Jr. may not be in as serious a condition as reported earlier today. Rougeau Jr., of the famous Montreal wrestling family, was diagnosed with a prostate the size of a grapefruit and his having more testing done to see what is the cause.

However, he was not diagnosed with prostate cancer. He was told by his doctor there were a number of different things that couild have caused his prostate to swell up, including kidney stones that he has had in the past, and prostate cancer. He was told there was maybe a 20% chance what he had was prostate cancer, so it is a concern, but it was not the diagnosis.

More of the same but Angry Marks is quoting Wrestling Observer as saying it's been confirmed it's NOT cancer.

Here's a happy update to our story yesterday about Jacques Rougeau. It turns out the original article was somewhat incorrectly translated, because Rougeau was indeed diagnosed with a swollen prostate, but there was only a 20% chance prostate cancer was the cause. Turns out it's NOT cancer. It's just as likely it was caused by kidney stones. (WO)
