King Pitcos
I'm trying to watch some Breaking Bad behind-the-scenes clips on AMC's website and it's region-locked. Is there any way around it other than paying for that VPN shite? Edit: Or moving.
Steve Justice
I used to get this whilst trying to watch footy games via Veetle. There was something you can download to bypass it, but since the Myp2p site has gone down I can't link you to it or remember what it was. Sorry. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted September 13, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 13, 2011 Did you get anywhere on this Pitcos? I'd also like to know a solution to this problem...
King Pitcos
I didn't, Chest. I found various articles suggesting ways to get around it, but none of them worked.
Steve Justice
I really wish I could remember the name of the program I used. Sorry chaps.
Steomac
I don't think that it will allow you to view the video because your computer's I.P address falls out of the geographic region that has been set for the video. I was just reading up on something similar before, and this will be a common case for Americans that are wanting to watch the Olympic games next year because one of their stations will be having exclusive rights to show the footage. Â Found this online, see if it is of any help. I'm in work at the moment so can't explain it in detail myself. However, if you're still having problems later on i'll see if I can be of any assistance when I come back online! Paid Members herbie747 Posted September 17, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 17, 2011 Use this, guys: http://hotspotshield.com/ Â I used it for getting around the Pandora USA-only thingy, and for posting on a forum my static IP was banned from. It usually gives you a US IP address. Â It's free, but it launches a single pop-up ad window upon startup, but it's not full of crappy adware or anything beside a single ad-page that opens upon launch - just close it.
