Fog Dude
Any chance of quadruple points, seeing as I was the only person to predict a Birmingham win? Ha, I should deduct you points for having the cheek to ask that! However, since that match was so nearly the subject of a D2D and you were the only one to bet against the norm, I'll quadruple the one point you earned for getting that result, but not your whole weely score. As you can see, doesn't help you that much in terms of the table, but it does technically make you joint top scorer this week with hb4life, who stays top but is now two points clear after having no breathing space last time out. No real significant movement elsewhere, and no outright lowest scorer either. At the wrong end, sivy closes the gap by a point but is still way behind the rest of the pack. From the other games, the draw at St James's yielded the most points, while many others were useful for one-pointers, like the wins for Villa and United, even if the margin of victory took people by surprise. Meanwhile at Molineux, not everyone even expected Wolves to win, let alone as comfortably as they did, and a few participants wrongly backed Sunderland to take something home from Goodison. In Italy, Roma throwing a two-goal lead away at home cost a lot of players at least a point, while Inter's return to form in the second half at Sampdoria caught out some pickers too. Over the border from me in Holland, AZ's victory was the next most fruitful result, though they're not really in the title race over their this year and their visitors are... or at least were before the match. Neither of the top 2 could take advantage though, quite a lot of people went for a draw in that one but I don't think anybody foresaw a stalemate. Coming up in a few minutes, a new thread with a set of 10 that includes a couple of games that could be used for *my* D2D - but I think we'll save that for another day, so it'll just be an ordinary round again.
