That's a nice little read, I always suspected hosting WrestleMania was quite a big deal for a city, but this is the first time I've actually read about the financial boost it brings. I'm curious as to why you were hoping for Toronto though?
M-Dudz Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I had it in my head it'll be Toronto too, it's been a while since 'Mania has been in Canada, 10 years come 2012. Â Miamimania it is though, and that wont stop me going, maybe they'll conincide it with Spring Break...
METAL ON METAL Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I bet Edge is gutted. Â Just last week at a live show in Toronto - he said his career was drawing to an end and didn't know how long he had left in him, but that his plan has always been to retire in Toronto hopefully at a Wrestlemania. Â Shame for him I suppose.
BenPhoenix Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hm, well i'm planning to go next year for my first Mania. Experienced Mania go-ers how much would you expect flights to be? If they do the same packages as this year we'll probably be getting the one that worked out about
300 Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Unless he holds out for another year and Mania 29 takes place in Canada?!
chiefdave Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Happy with that, can probably persuade the other half that we go to Miami for a holiday next year! guts316 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Great choice, gives me a bit of a flutter in the stomach as would have loved to have gone down to Miami for WrestleMania instead of a couple of the shithole's I ended up going to. Â Weather will be fantastic and will be a great experience for all who are lucky enough to attend.
Paul Essex Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Toronto is a lovely city and i want to go back. But my cousin lives in Florida but see if the wife will let me go over there for a week.
JPC Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 This is good news. I could do with a holiday near a hot beach.

bAzTNM Fan Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Excellent. I'm planning on making WM28 my first ever Mania, and I am already going to Toronto in August with friends - so it's gonna be fucking win going to Miami. When I land at the airport, Will Smith is getting blared through my ears on my iPod. Â Anyone know when the travel packages go on sale? Is it the Summer?
Shovanist Pig Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Bugger that. I was holding out for New Orleans. Â This will be my first Wrestlemania too. How warm does it get in Miami in March/April time? I can't it when it's too hot.
dopper Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hoping they can persuade The Rock to come in as the Hall Of Fame main inductee, being from Miami. Â If their schedules can match, an appearance at the ppv itself in some capacity would go down well too. Rock doing an in-ring farewell in Florida could equal Austin's unforgettable farewell in Texas at WM25.
