Here's my updated top five fights of 2011:

1. Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard, UFC 125: Resolution

2. Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler, Bellator 58

3. Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio Rua, UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson

4. Benson Henderson vs. Clay Guida, UFC on Fox 1

5. Nick Diaz vs. Paul Daley, Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley

I'm happy with my list as of right now. I expect I'm in the minority now who rates Edgar/Maynard II as 2011's Fight of the Year.

It's been a fantastic year for UFC and the MMA. Good luck to the UFC picking the best fights for it's annual Best of year collections.

Rampage Vs Stephen Bonnar is being rumored on twitter

Bonners gunna hold Rampage down for 3 rounds and why not it wins and it'll teach rampage to really work on his ground game. Not to be harsh on Bonner but hes got no chance in the stand up game with Rampage

Bonner would have no chance of getting Rampage to the ground, it would be the mirror of Rampage vs Hamill.

Bonnar would hold an advantage in BJJ but I think he'd have trouble getting Rampage down to be honest. I think that would end up mostly on the feet. Fun fight but I'd have Rampage to win that one.

Would be good but I'd rather see

Rampage vs Thiago Silva (was meant to happen in May, would still love to see this)

Bonnar vs Little Nog or Rich Franklin (Either of these would be great fights to make for next year)

fucking hell Mauquel Falcao has suffered a heart attack...link

shitty news.

Shocking news. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Thiago Alves vs. Martin Kampmann in the works for an unannounced UFC show in March.

I love the sound of that fight!

Me too, I called for this one in the 139 thread. Hope it happens.

Haha yeah if I was choosing the 2011 Best Of I'd need at least a 4 discer.

My top 5 (so far)

1 - Dan Henderson vs Shogun Rua (UFC 139)

2 - Eddie Alvarez vs Michael Chandler (Bellator 58)

3 - Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard 2 (UFC 125)

4 - Ben Henderson vs Clay Guida (UFC on FOX 1)

5 - Nick Diaz vs BJ Penn (UFC 137)

When I can't even put fights like Diaz/Daley, Edgar/Maynard 3, Faber/Cruz 2, Aldo/Hominick and Sanchez/Kampmann in my top 5, fuck what a year. I don't remember another year with as many awesome fights. 2007 was pretty nuts but 2011 topped it easily for me.

And there's still fights like Jones vs Machida, Hominick vs Korean Zombie, Lesnar vs Overeem and Cerrone vs Nate Diaz to name a few that could potentially be amazing fights.

Vadim Fuckeadschtein or whatever his name is wants the rumoured Fedor vs Cain fight

We are determined to move forward, and would like to offer the UFC a fight between Cain Velasquez and Fedor Emelianenko. M-1 Global would take a full responsibility of organizing the fight sometime during 2012 in Moscow, Russia. I can guarantee Dana White great revenue from this fight, and a record-breaking attendance. M-1 Global is ready for dialogue, and would be happy to consider an option of organizing such tournament with combined efforts. I will make an offer to "my best friend" pretty soon, so we
