'The Leaders of the New School' was a stable in IPW:UK which consisted of Marty Scurll, Paul Robinson, Nikko Brixton and Zack Sabre Jr.
Illustrious company kept there, no doubt. Didn't you have a really bad neck injury or something? I have a vague recollection of such a thing occurring years ago.

Speaking of entrance themes I noticed this match in the lineup:

If the former doesn't come out to this on repeat, they are really missing a trick:

I have a half-arsed theory that All In did great numbers, so they tried again with WrestleDream and it didn't do what they wanted it to do because the interest wasn't there as it would be with a Wembley show. They didn't put World's End on either, if I recall correctly.
Shame ITV Box Office tanked as I'm certain snagging AEW must've been a big part of their strategy for that. They had at least one PPV on there, I'm sure.

I hope the cunt starts something just so he falls flat on his fucking hair dye stained face.

Heâs selling his shares because they donât represent what he wants from a business any more.Â
Heâs never wanted to own a professional wrestling company.

Watched it this morning.
I liked it... I didn't love it.
SpoilerI think this is the first time watching Bluey that I've felt it was a bit 'Hollywood'. There were a few things, such as Frisky running from the wedding or ultimately Bandit deciding not to sell the house and move, that were more contrived than I think I've become used to with this show. Not to mention that the ending I felt contradicted with a lot of the message of the preceding episode.
Occasionally it's quite difficult to keep in mind that this is, after all, a show for young children at heart, so it may be that I'm massively overthinking things. However Bluey has had such a unique ability to resonate with people who have been affected by real life circumstances, which makes the kind of hand-wavey 'undoing' of certain elements a little disappointing. For example, the moment in 'Onesies' that referred to Brandi's possible infertility which was so powerful has now been undone, as she was shown to be pregnant at the wedding. The ending of 'Ghostbasket' set up the very realistic prospect that a lot of families (including mine when I was around Bluey's age) face, of choosing to relocate in order to make a better life for the future. It felt a bit of a shame to build that prospect up just to discard it with little real justification at the end.
I know, it's just monkeys singing songs, don't read too much into it. It was still incredibly emotive, and I did cry a lot, as did my wife. The kids loved it and ultimately that's what matters.

Young Bucks are deffo debuting the IPS Driver at Dynasty.

Tony S and Renee donât deserve this.Â

Utterly pointless. And Will Ospreayâs promo was crap too. I think Tony Schiavone and Renee Paquetteâs reactions tell a story.
ÂHaving FTR come out and say theyâre bored of talking about it doesnât sort anything, incidentally. Itâs trying to have your cake and eat it too. One of the things I really appreciated about the fallout from âbrawl outâ and beyond was that no matter how petty and insecure Punk came off, the Elite lot generally remained in a dignified silence from then onwards. Thatâs all out the window now.

Skeggy, Bognor or Minehead? Because only one is truly suitable for our Tribal Chief.Â

I find it somewhat ironic that, in a feud where a major point has been that people couldn't tell them apart for a long time, the Usos decided to have a match which openly shows that they pretty much wrestle exactly the same as each other. It felt like a game of Tekken where you both pick the same character and only know how to do two or three moves. Dull as ditchwater, with all the worst parts of Bloodline 'cinema' on display.

What's a combo ticket?
For MITB, they initially only sold a double combined ticket to SmackDown and the PPV. Single day tickets werenât available until much later.Â

I reckon practically speaking youâre not getting in for below ÂŁ120.Â

That's where an Ospreay or Okada coming in would have been perfect for them
Why? Do they need someone to put seats out in a very technical manner?
I'm being deliberately obtuse but in all seriousness there is no way either of them would be coming straight in at that level. If they're comparable to, say, AJ Styles, even he had to go through the Feud of Jericho in order to access Roman later.
Great episode of RAW, I thought. Particularly liked the use of 'Bloodline Rules' for the main event here - it really sold the idea that if that's the stip, Cody is totally fucked. Just look how it ended up for him and Seth here! A nice touch.
There are a lot of things that seem very obvious for the weekend's shows and hopefully, if it fits together the way it should, it'll be the gratifying ending we all deserve.

Does Glasgow not have a stadium they could have used?
Thereâs THREE! But I imagine 65,000 cagoules wouldâve been costly.Â

Not sure what castle specifically, but this is quite a shock.Â

The maturing of Randy Orton has been a pleasure of mine over the last few years. Itâs great to see.Â

Perhaps it's because I've got two kids of six and under, but this really seems to have been something of a phenomenon. My son is obsessed with Gladiators - he can do all the poses and has set up his own little events in the living room. His mates are all hooked, too.
Hopefully this gives it a bit of momentum to expand the second series - more events, new Glads, a full bracket; all that jazz.
On the final - felt sorry for Wesley but it was nice to see Finley win as at least he'd come from the heats, albeit having lost once already. Was pulling for local lass Bronte but it was a worthy end to the series.
Ultimately, the whole thing is just tremendous fun and while I'm acutely aware of how old it makes me sound, you don't get telly like that any more, do you, eh?

I Believe in Joe Hendry
in UK Fan Forum
Posted
As mentioned in the TNA thread, Scotsman Joe Hendry is currently putting a bit of a social media run together lately and has become a bit of a meme. Well, now Joe's released his theme music as a purchasable/streamable song and is currently (as of Monday 29th April) top of the iTunes charts!
The idea is, of course, to get it as high as it can on Friday's BBC Radio 1 chart rundown. I know the charts have become significantly less important over the last few decades, but given how popular Joe has been with his musical moments, I thought it worth starting a thread to give some awareness of the campaign as well as to talk about Joe in general.
So, UKFF, the question is... do you believe in Joe Hendry?
