Having him go over Orton clean two PPVs in a row rather than Christian, Punk or The Miz is smart booking for someone they are trying to get over as dominant monster. In fact, it's such basic booking logic, it isn't even considered smart. It just makes bloody sense. Orton would look a lot more credible losing clean two months running to Mark Henry than any of the other three mentioned.

Fin gushed over Orton/Christian as WWE's "feud of the year" in issue 206 and claimed their match at SummerSlam was match of the night for the fourth PPV in a row - four times is a row? Bollocks. He can say, for example that some spots in Cena/Punk at MITB went a bit wrong, but it was the most exciting match on the card and was perfectly booked, so fuck knows how that wasn't his - or ANYBODY'S match of the night.

What the fuck?? I think many would struggle to find a better match this year than Cena/Punk. Everything about it just worked. To say it wasn't even match of the night is mental. Even Da Meltz gave it the full hog, and let's be honest it takes a LOT for him to give 5 stars to a WWE match- especially in this day & age. But Fin is obviously cooler than that. By cooler, I mean cuntier. And by cuntier, I mean preferring frap frap frap move move move no sell no sell no sell 60 minute epic.

I'm really intrigued to see if John Cena, Chris Masters and Mark Henry make it in.

 

What does Fin actually base the PS50 on? Is it their in ring stuff in 20 minute+ matches, their all round year, or just who Fin Martin likes more?

Definitely the latter. Going back to Mark Henry, I haven't read Powerslam in yonks. But would I be right if I guessed that Fin hasn't given Mizark any credit for his recent run? Judging by the earlier comment of Randy being brilliant in putting him over.

Fin Martin doesn't quite get it, does he? And he is the editor of the most well-known and probably highest-selling wrestling publication from the UK. Has he done his silly little PS50 this year yet? Did Davey Richards finish in all 50 positions?

When was the Big Boss Man's last appearance in the WWF, 1993? He seemed to just disappear straight after the Royal Rumble 93, but I was just reading the Q & A section from the August 93 edition of WWF magazine, in which someone writes in to ask when he'll return and they respond by stating ''soon''. Did his contract expire or did they just not use him anymore and he pissed off to WCW?

I think his match VS Bam Bam at the 93 Rumble was his last during that run. Could be wrong though.

I never played Bully. Was that a lot less free-roaming than a GTA game, having to be in lessons at certain times every day etc?

You definitely should play it. You could skip class, but if you were caught by prefects they would chase you and 'arrest' you for truancy (ie take you to the headmaster's office and you'll get items confiscated). As the game developed and you completed certain classes, you no longer had to attend them, so you wouldn't be chased by prefects. Plus you didn't have to attend class if you were playing a mission. Besides, I think there are only two classes per day anyway- morning and afternoon- and the classes are quite fun (especially biology on the Wii version).

It's very clever how they managed to essentially have GTA but in a school environment. Riding skateboards and bikes instead of cars, the weapons were great (eggs, stink bombs, slingshot, marbles etc), the like-for-like replacements in certain situations (like the prefects in place of cops, although there are also cops in the town when you get here) and fighting was always fun too. You got to learn a few fighting techniques. Plus bunking class was always fun when running away, especially when there were good places to hide- like lockers and bins.

If you like RDR & GTA, you have to give this a go.

Seasons change in-game, with the main story taking place over the course of more than a year.

That was the thing that I liked the sound of the most from that list (and there were plenty of rumours to make me lick my lips). I loved the changing seasons in Bully.

I've recorded all series 2 episodes of Boardwalk so far. Does it pick up quite a bit then? Because I felt the first season, while it started off very well, really fizzed out toward the end.

I don't know why, some stupid mental block which stop me pissing in a urinal if there is somebody else in the loos. Or unless I'm absolutely dying, or unless I'm pissed. But normally I cannot piss in a urinal if someone is around. Don't know why, certainly not self-conscious- I've chased people around waving my cock at them 'for a laugh' before (in a hetero way) and plus have no issue in stripping down to by bare nads in changing rooms in front of friends. San Andreas has to be the biggest map thus far, surely? RDR was pretty damn big too, or perhaps it just seemed that big as most of it was terrain.

Whenever I use a urinal, I can literally feel splashes on my hands- which puts me in a difficult position as I don't want to pull my boxers & trousers up until after I've washed my hands first for fear the splashes will transfer onto my trousers. Therefore I have to shuffle across to the sink and wash my hands first- with trousers still open.

Not washing your hands is rank. I verbally dressed down one of my members of staff when I noticed he hadn't washed his hands after going for a piss, who was then going on to get the round of drinks in.

Sitting on the porcelain is mental, as is standing up to wipe. As somebody mentioned, when you stand up your arse cheeks push together- making it harder to wipe and it also increases the chances of faecal smearing. Good lord, that's the first time I've ever used the term 'faecal smearing' before.

Surely not, bearing in mind that LA Noire ended up on 3 discs for the Xbox, so even if it's remotely close to the size of that it's going to be a ridiculous-sized download. Plus they're not stupid enough to risk losing so many sales. GTA is a massive brand in video gaming, they could not afford to not have this on disc seeing how popular it is with the casual market.

Dont know if this has already be posted but Gamestop Ireland had a release date of 2nd September 2012 on their website but its since been removed.

Yeah, it will surely be April/May. Rockstar don't wait 8 months to release a game after posting the first trailer, do they? And they seem to release their big games in Spring I think. Always seem to avoid the Christmas rush from my recollection. Edit: Def April/May for the current console generation. GTA4 Apr 08, RDR May 10, LA Noire May 11. The three GTA games for PS2 were all released in October.

Did anybody catch Kat Dennings new TV show "2 Broke Girls." Its awful and Dennings is awful in it.

The Sopranos is possibly my favorite drama of all time. What do you think of it so far?

I am watching the entire collection second time around as they're repeating them on Sky Atlantic, into series 3 at the moment.

JLM, it's fucking superb. IMO the best drama of all time by a long shot. The characters are superb and you become so drawn into them. I've never felt for any tv or movie characters like this before, they captivate you. And it seems to get better with each season I think.

Be warned though- after you watch the final episode, you will hit depression when you realise there's no more Sopranos to watch

I quite literally shit myself in the SA mission where you had to fly that massive 747. I was so tense and nervous, more so than on my fucking driving test(s). SA was so wonderfully vast, VC was cool as fuck, 3 had the best gangs. It was always going to be hard for 4 to live up. Still, I bought a 360 for Gta4 alone and have never looked back, so I can thank the game for that.

Spot on, I was saying this to friends recently. The best thing about Vice City, San Andreas and even GTA3 & the original game was that they were fucking cool. Plenty of humour, fun dialogue and playing these games was highly enjoyable. GTA4 lost that cool and fun element. The characters were ok but not great, but the storylines were a bit dull. I think they missed a trick in not heavily involving the five families and Jersey crew. Graphically and gameplay-wise, the game was light years ahead of it's predecessors, which is as expected given the hardware.

I really hope GTA5 is set in Vice City. In fact, I just want a complete re-boot of the original, but obviously with much more that the next-gen consoles can cope with. Vice City was uber-cool. San Andreas, although not quite as cool, had a billion things to do and plenty of fun to have.

I really hope series picks up again after the disappointing last effort. I tried to give it another go a couple of weeks ago, I really did, but I just got bored.

I can see the reasoning behind moving from 4 to 5 though. Cos 4 wasn't really a massive step up from 3, certainly not in the same league as the difference between 2 and 3.

I think graphically it was a massive, massive step (again as expected). You play GTA4, then go back to play San Andreas straight after. I struggled.
