    The new belt looks shite.

As I said. Same every time. It’s basically no different much like Roman’s new belt.

If anything, it’s better the background colour has been taken out of it.

    THIS!!!!

The belt design doesn't bother me, the fact they call it 'Undisputed' when its clearly disputed by the other brand drives me nuts! I imagine Vince heard a UFC Champion called it and liked the sound of it without actually taking the time to think what it actually means. By calling it that they are completely sh!tting on the Heavyweight Belt: What's the point of being a World Champion if another guy is the 'undisputed' Champion?

There is definitely some weight to this UFC argument. Like how he started having “reigning, defending” into the ring announcement of the Champion when they weren’t defending the belt and just doing a promo.

  3. I feel like everyone says how bad a belt is anytime one is unveiled then they get used to/over it and it’s not so bad.

Not convinced I’ve ever seen anyone go “phwoar! Look at that!” after any belt unveiling lately.

The new belt is pretty much the same as the old belt.

  4. I feel like you could easily have built the story of each man doing their mentors finish throughout the match without making the Scorpion Death Drop and Cross Rhodes look like throwaway moves. Commentary is the pits too, zero reaction that Jungle Boy had just kicked out of a Cross Rhodes.

I fully accept I’m not an entire AEW convert, I turn up for the big games and dip in and out of Dynamite so that sort of spot probably isn’t aimed at the likes of me who enjoys something that tells a bit more of a story than “here’s our mentors moves, isn’t this cool?”

I hadn’t seen Keith Lee for ages, that man seems to have aged a lot. Does he still have his health issues as he’s not looking great at all unfortunately?

I do enjoy the AEW PPV’s for the most part despite this negativity but I actually fell asleep through a large portion of the show, just due to watching it live not the standard, so don’t have much other comments at the moment.

  5. Seth winning is the logical choice. He’s in his best form for ages and it won’t do WWE any harm actually listening to the fans choice for a change. Whether people on here rate him or not isn’t hugely important - it is abundantly clear he was the man to go with. Cody is the only other available for that belt and it would just feel second rate for him right now.

I thought the one superkick was gonna be it and then Jimmy taking his punishment before apologising to move on so the second was fantastic stuff. Like has been said, that release afterwards was brilliant storytelling.

  6. Whoever edited the crowd noise in should be on the chopping block. It was a taped show so always going to happen that they piped a good few sounds in but how do you get so bad at doing something you were doing fine with worse technology 20 years ago?

  7. Isn’t the whole dynamic pricing a big part of it too? Often find the week of the event things are cheaper as opposed to when they first go on sale. We picked up floor seats at CATC for 60 odd quid the week of the event which was same price we had paid for further away seats (Ticketmaster lets you cancel worse tickets if you find a better seat for same price or more).

Our combo ticket wasn’t too bad for this event. Nosebleeds but 70 odd quid for two events is very good.

Punk in the clip is what, 30?  Sure people can change, but he still did that shit AND thought it was a brag worthy story.  At 30.

He’s 44 now, he’s about early to mid 20’s there. I caveat this by saying I’ve not watched the clip but I’m 32 now and one look at my Facebook memories page shows me just how immature and dim-witted I was 7 years ago on any given day.

People absolutely change as they grow up.

  9. Not much I can add that hasn’t already been said on other happenings but god bless vignettes to at least try and explain who these NXT wrestlers are and/or what they’re about. Talented or not, at least they’re trying to give us some information on them. My biggest gripe lately was the assumption that we knew all these NXT wrestlers and I mentioned that on here so kudos to Trips.

Not overly thrilled at the thought of another Rollins title reign to be honest but it looks like that's the direction they're going in. Roman continues to be the very best in the business. Love it.

At least they’d actually be listening to crowd reactions for a change.

Seth is the perfect champion for me just now. A guy who is there every week, always very popular and can get involved in the silly stuff as well as the serious stuff.

  11. When you have to pipe in noise for your hometown “longest reigning champion of the modern era” then there’s an issue. I don’t even mean a Bianca issue, the crowds in the US are the pits at the moments. Every decent crowd of late has been a non-US one.

The product isn’t terrible but the live crowds just don’t seem to care. I genuinely think Sami and Cody losing in such a short space has taken so much adrenaline out of the fans. LA Knight was getting some backing and he didn’t even get a slot on Mania and wasn’t on the show last night from what I remember. The crowds are now in a dangerous “why should we bother?” stage because none of their favourites ever rise to the top.

Aren't the titles for both brands?

    Yes and always have been.

The video of them being drafted is titled “Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez bring the tag title to Raw” and Corey specifically mentions on commentary that they get to defend their belts on Raw.

They never said at any point the Womens tag titles were exempt from the draft in terms of where they can be defended and very much commented otherwise based on the above.

  13. Echo all the thoughts on the crowd. Not much I can add that hasn’t already been said.

The Bloodline story used to be unmissable, I fell asleep as The Usos made their entrance last night but to be fair to them on watching the rest of the show today they’ve brought back a bit of intrigue with Jey finally showing a bit of how he was previously after weeks of being a loser. Shouting at Solo, “he’s not your brother”, was fantastic stuff.

I don’t know how much I buy the Cody win as him coming out looking good. He’s a face who won through a bit of chance with the exposed turnbuckle and a lucky pin. Doesn’t scream that he can beat Brock Lesnar with all things equal. He’s still nicely over at least.

Pay Bad Bunny what you need to and push him to the moon.
