I don't think this has been posted yet but it's the first time I've seen live footage of it outside of retrospectives. Teek a Boo, Jimmy Glass.

Today there are two Vincent Tan Is A Cunt stories in the press. This is the more egregious one.

Not a Chargers fan, but they went all in on their fixture reveal video.

Not cool #1 - Jedi Survivor is 155GB min on PS5, so had to toss two games off the drive. Maybe another if/when I get hit with a 50GB update thanks to Sony's IDIOTIC patching policy.
Not cool #2 - Whatever is copying/downloading is taking its sweet time - it's about 20% done with est. 70 minutes to go. I miss games being ready out of the box.
Either *external additional* SSDs will need to be mandatory in the near future due to escalating asset sizes, or things will become full circle and we'll go back to cartridges with "full" games on them. I may well love this game but once it's done it's going off.

TURNED CONSOLE ON, WHAT DID I SEE? A PATCH FILE THAT IS 1GB
Improvement is noticeable. Performance mode is far smoother, Resolution mode is blurrier of course but turning off the grain effect improves things.

Another gaffer out at Tottenham. Since this sublime joke was made at the start of this season, if you include Frank Lampard out for Poch then both clubs have chewed through SEVEN managers.

@Keith Houchen was watching last night. A complete piss take. Noted woman beater Domingo German can stay in the game walking around like he's just taken a dip in Vaseline and Mad Max gets ejected 'because his hand was too sticky'. It's the total lack of consistency which is worse of all.
This video here. "You didn't wash them enough, but seeing you sound honest we'll let it go". Fuxakes.
Sidenote - this is a great channel. Bit of Yanks bias in places as the hosts do a Yanks pod, though. The lipreading clips are superb.
P.S. edit THE CARDS FINALLY DIDNT SHIT LOADED BASES. Nolan Gorman is a star in the making.

Troy Deeney is a giant tool at the best of times, but you have to say his finest moment is up there for the sheer drama.

*Desperately scrambling for good news in this otherwise bin-fire of a season*
Oh, Jordan Walker has tied Ted Williams in hitting his first 10 games in the big leagues. Two more for the overall league record.

That stuff's really getting on my nerves now. Especially as clicking on the top of the 1st inning (when the Cards are away) links to *the start of the feed* so there's no telling of how much of the unskippable inserts I have to sit through just to watch actual baseball.
Furthermore for some reason the historical stuff appears to be muted on my feed.

Pancaked by the Braves over 3 games. But Walker hit his first homer so it's all puppies and rainbows in the FO.
-
Cards have got a few tools coming through in the batting as Jordan Walker is living up to the hype and Nolan Gorman, the first MLB player born in the 21st century, is starting to come good.
Now let's sort the goddamn bullpen out.
