  6. Anyone else feel the wind knocked out when a sacking comes out of the blue, makes no sense and kills the direction of the season completely? Oh, Birmingham did it first.

    Fuck sakes, Lansdown.

What's worse is Jason Euell left as well, he got some good results out of us and if he'd stayed he would have done better maintaining continuity than Fleming.

“By subscribing to our international partners ESPN/TNT”

I’m sure a VPN or DNS or whatever located in an international market that isn’t blacked out would sort it.

I've had BT for years since I had Sky, but kept the sub up because £36pm was a lot less than £106pm. By cutting that thread (now they sold the TV side to Discovery) I've saved an extra £6pm on top.

Thrilled to see Paul Sewald's Diamondbacks going far. Was gutted when we lost him.

Cancelled my MLB subscription just now as neither of our teams are left in the post-season and quite pathetically chose my reason for cancelling as "My team isn't doing well".

Wasn't the postseason blacked out live on MLB.TV same as the shit they pulled at the last second last year?

p.s. Fuck Houston. They lost nothing of actual value when they got caught, and are living off the gains.

  16. How's this for a giant yikes? Remember The Blindside, that feelgood story where the underprivileged guy was taken in by that kind family?

Well, that relationship was much more exploitative than originally written, to the point that the subject - Michael Oher - saw almost none of that money. He has since sued the family to end the conservatorship, and is now getting an equal share of the proceeds.

Now the family's best mate, who just so happens to be the guy who wrote the story (Michael 'Moneyball' Lewis), has just surmised that Oher learned about the deception through - reads quote - being exploited by greedy lawyers and CTE :

Seems this is the subject of the mysterious Panorama doc tonight, head of Abercrombie and Fitch accused of exploiting men for sex. As expected, they'd not announced it as they were trying to get the piece through legal before publicizing the subject matter.

The man who deliberately markets exclusively to pretty people, who makes Eric Stoltz in "Mask" look like Eric Stoltz IRL can't get laid without paying for it? notthatshocked.gif
