Shane re-hired him a week after he was fired at Judgment Day 98 for not following his duties as a ref in the match between Taker and Kane. Shane then turned on him weeks later at Survivor Series 98.Russo might have booked WCW into the ground but some of the stuff that was going on in the WWE at the time he was writing was incredible. The whole build up towards and then the Survivor Series 98 event itself was brilliant.

I'm not a paid member, I wasn't even aware there was a paid member forum, I've never once been "up the mod's arse," and it matters not even if I was because they have no input in the nominations. They also don't tell people who to vote for so if I didn't belong in there everyone would be voting others instead of me. Just come to terms with me being amazing in comparison to you. It's OK.

This reputation I've got befuddles me to no end. Whenever I've had a discussion with people who actually own a brain (Lister, tiger_rick, Legend Killer, Carbomb and Mo just to name a few) I've always taken what they've said on board and never once ignored a point against me in order to "win." The only people who have ever accused me of "always wanting to be right," are people like Sharky when I've argued against such ridiculous points as "Cena clearly has 97% of the crowd on his side," and he's realised he's 100% wrong."Oh well you always want to be right so boo hoo stop picking on me."I also have no idea why Mr. Seven is in there.

Another memorable occasion where the WCW announce team seem to be having a ball is the "Hardcore Triangle" between Hak (Sandman), Raven & Bam Bam Bigelow at Uncensored `99. Probably unfashionable to say this, but I thought WCW's hardcore scene was pretty entertaining around this period, maybe even more so than WWF's.

I agree, WCW's hardcore division pissed all over the WWE's at the time you're talking about. Sandman, Raven and Bigelow were tearing the house down in three-way hardcore matches and then Mania 15 came along and their attempt at a three-way hardcore match was so shit that I can't even remember who was in there with Al Snow and Billy Gunn.Anyway, my question.......does anybody know the figures that indicate what the UFC makes per PPV in comparison to what their main eventers get paid? What would be the likely wage that Chuck and Randy will pick up in two weeks time in comparison to what Dana White will be making?

Shut up. Just because there's been a couple of great WWE matches this year doesn't take away from the fact that everything since Summerslam has been a massive pile of shit. They could have a match of the year candidate every single week and it'd still be the worst promotion of the year because their storylines make no sense, they haven't got a clue how to book babyfaces, they piss away money every time a golden situation lands in their lap, they ignore their fans and the product as a whole is about seven years out of date.What's pathetic is thinking four or five good matches is enough to excuse the fact that the WWE in 2005 was an utter shambles.
