The picture I saw of show standind in front of the car and making a spitting motion looked pretty intentional to me..

Can you please find me that photograph? I only ask because I watched this show live and I saw no evidence of Show spitting on Eddie's car whatsoever. I'm not going to call it bollocks outright, but it's seemed to me ever since the angle went down that idiots who don't understand what exploitation means have invented this myth so that they can bash the angle without feeling stupid.

I came very close to voting for Eddie. As you said, he was a heel for most of the year. A truly evil heel, too. Yet the "Eddie" chants continued. It takes a very special person to be so loveable even when portraying a character doing despicable things.

The award isn't, "most likeable bloke playing heel," though. If it was Eddie would win hands down but face of the year? He hardly did anything to deserve that. A great talent that left a huge gaping hole on the Smckdown roster, yes, but his death in my opinion is the only thing getting him the votes.

Ontopic, out of the choices, i'm torn between Supes and Tiggers.

I agree. I'm shocked to say the least that not only is the lowrider angle not running away with this award but it's not even winning! I mean come on. Fuck Tim White, that's just using death for laughs. With the lowrider angle they used a real bloke's death in order to advance a storyline. A man died. He stopped living. His wife lost a husband and his kids lost a dad. The WWE three weeks later used his death in a storyline. Nothing they did this year even comes close to how bad that was. It boggles my mind that people are putting the JR skit or Jillian Hall's mole before it.

I tried to take the nominationin good spirits but when I did that - having a laugh about it (changing my sig etc) - they turned around it by saying that approach was pathetic.

The problem with these 'awards' is not that I (or others) are included in a Dolt of the Year or At, Not With category but that it encourages a level of self-importance that serves no real purpose other than to stroke the ego's of the pathetic and needy or allow certain people to suck up to others (i.e. "John Lister you're so cool, you're so funny.......btw, this is not aimed at Lister personally as I AGREE he's a funny guy, but the hero worship is a little over-bearing). 

He's got a point here. Especially this award which was just asking for a huge flaming thread full of negativity towards people that probably don't really deserve it.

That's fair enough, and as I've said you are a decent member and can very often generate some very good discussion, but it's fair to say that sometimes you do come across a bit heavy with people, especially when people don't share your view, I'm not having a go, but it often seems that if someone dosen't have the same opinion as you then their opinion isn't valid, when as you and I have both found out that if you have two people who strongly stick to one view it's doubtful you're going to change that persons opinion.

A lot of times you simply will not take another persons opinion on board, I know myself and many other forum members are guilty of this too, but you often become a little abusive to people who don't see things your way.

That's rubbish I'm afraid. I take on the opinions of those who make sense, it's that simple. Go and find the recent discussion I had with Legend Killer about the TLC match on RAW. We were able to have a civil discussion and discovered where we agreed and disagreed with each other. I never felt the need to get abusive because he never once acted like a tool. If he'd said something moronic like, "stop being negative," or "this is my opinion so there," I probably would have "got abusive," because mongs do my head in. And for fuck's sake I'm never trying to "win" anything! I'm discussing things to their natural progression. If it wasn't for people like me on here we'd have lame debates that went something like, "I think this, you think that, let's agree to disagree m8, LMAO!" This would suck knob cheese.

Can't be bothered to go into it, i had an argument with ElSupremo about it a couple of days ago and I havn't got the energy, but every post is like reading an essay and he usually just repeats himself over and over without adding anything to the discussion and doesn't like it when someone disagrees with him and usually lashes out at them.

That was just the title. The rest of the "essay" would have spoke about how I (and probably many others) would much rather read people's detailed thoughts and discussions on them than one-line posts from mongs who cry when somebody dares take a shot at their precious WWE. "Don't watch it if you don't like it," is usually the best you can get back from them. Well, that and the good old, "it's my opinion so there." That's always a cracker.

Shane then turned on him weeks later at Survivor Series 98.Russo might have booked WCW into the ground but some of the stuff that was going on in the WWE at the time he was writing was incredible. I'm not a paid member, I wasn't even aware there was a paid member forum, I've never once been "up the mod's arse," and it matters not even if I was because they have no input in the nominations. They also don't tell people who to vote for so if I didn't belong in there everyone would be voting others instead of me. Just come to terms with me being amazing in comparison to you. It's OK.
