Really? I've never heard of them doing that before. I still think they took some time from the Brock Goldberg match since they saw that the crowd weren't gonna accept anything those two did.

If i ranked all the Manias this was definitely not in the top 10 - but it was much better than last years. It seems liek this show will be sitting on the shelf for a long time.

I toally diagree. Sure, it wasn't the greatest event of all time like was being billed to be, but it would easilly rank as one of the top ten. You can't deny that Jericho Vs Christian, Rock and Foley Vs Evolution, Eddie Vs Angle and the Triple Threat main event were all great efforts, those matches alone putting this Mania in my opinion second to only Mania 17 and 19. The hype going into this event was the downfall, there was never going to be any event that could live up to the hype, but saying that it wasn't one of the top ten is a bit extreme.

A very odd show methinx, the first time at a WWE show that 'Smarks' outnumbered casual fans, that's not a good thing.

Not really. Summerslam 2002 saw the same thing in the main event. Fans boo'ed the Rock who was the babyface and cheered Lesnar.

I think if this Mania had left the two tag title matches and the evening gown match off the show, along with the filler like Ventura and Mcmahon coming out for no reason being scrapped, shortening it to just under 4 hours it would have been as good or maybe even better than Mania X7.

I think the main question of the night is:Did you scream 'Tap out, bitch' or 'Tap out, motherfucker' at the end?

The real question is who else heard Flair shout, "don't think so Motherfucker!" at the Rock when he went for a tag and he intercepted. I marked for that.

Main event saved the second half of the show. It was rolling along smoothly till the crowd burnt themselves out in order to annoy Lesnar. Between Lesnar's match and Eddie Vs Angle the crowd looked Toronto after Hogan-esque. Thank god Eddie woke them up, Taker kept them going and Benoit gave them a reason to celebrate.Kudos to Vince, he's took a bit of a risk with Chris, hopefully it'll pay off.If I was to mark it, during Victoria Vs Molly it looked to be heading towards a 5 out of ten, but with Benoit winning, , I'd now give it an 8 out of ten.

I piss and moan about Triple H as much as the next guy, but this match is going great so far. They've all got their working boots on, even if Hunters are brighter than the sun.

Atlanta Gorgia? For god's sake Vince is doing his best to mess everything up before Shane gets the company at the end of the show. If they turn Benoit heel on Canada they are officially worse than WCW.Triple H this morning: "crap I've forgot my boots, hey Rock, you still got those Rocky Miavia boots?"Rock: "don't worry mate, I'll hook you up."

There just can't be any way Triple H can win. HBK winning I can accept but Triple H no way. I still think VInce is gonna think what the hell, let's give Benoit a chance and give him the win.

How I felt during that match:Holy crap it's Paul Bearer woooh!YES!!! It's old school Taker, whoooo!What the hell it's Biker Taker with a hat and some rolly eyes. What a joke.Meh, a combination, I guess I can live with it, but I think people wanted old school Taker through and through, not a combination. Come on Vince, all you had to do was give him a top instead of his old Biker era wrestling gear, at least then he'd have looked a bit different than before he was buried.

Great match between Eddie and Angle, that DDT reversal from the Angle slam and everything after it seems to have woken the crowd up, thankfully.

Quick prediction. The doors with the video screen that have so far only been used for The Rock's segment? I reckon they're gonna use it for Taker's return. They could display a life size picture of him on the screen, then it slowly opens to reveal the real deal, kinda like they did at Royal Rumble that time with Marty janetty.

Hey everyone, cheer up, a pissed off smart crowd + the Triple Threat match in the main event = Benoit winning hopefully!

Poor molly. Getting her head shaved might have meant something on a PPV that will be remembered, but this show is slowly dying. I say it's a combination of too much hype, expectations being way too high, and sticking the Lesnar Vs Goldberg match out there too early, forgetting the fans would use all their energy to piss off Brock for leaving.

What the hell is Vince doing? I'm all for the legends segment, but what the hell is with him thanking the crowd and then sending Jesse out for no aparant reason? Want to make up time Vinny? Stick Angle and Eddie in there for 45 minutes.Loved the Edge advert, wasn't expecting much hype for his return, but I guess that's the privelages Triple H job status gets you.

You wouldn't stay for a WrestleMania payoff?

I wouldnt let the WWE push me to the moon for two years then bail when they took the title off me and said it was time to do some jobs.

Me thinks that Vince announcement just filled up the time they shaved off Goldberg and Brock due to the crowd crapping on it.I think we're supposed to go "oh, fatal four way under sudden death rules, how exciting," instead we're all going, "ooh sudden death rules, it'll be over quicker, thank god."

Well, so much for it being a work. Good riddance to both Brock and Goldberg, I'm glad they did it in New York, they both deserved to be crapped all over, staying for their Mania pay offs then fucking off.

Remember when people looked forward to this match? Thank god they are leaving, it's as if they're putting on a shit match on purpose!
