Apex pish and a quiet weekend of boxing ahead so it's all about Knucklemania: Decent card on paper. BKFC turning into the WWE for me where I lost interest throughout the year but jump back in for the big one.

It'll do great, the UFC sells tickets wherever it goes.

Yeah, it'll probably get lost in the post-fight that Haney comfortably won 7-8 of the rounds. After round 1 I genuinely thought Haney was cruising to an 11-1 win, he was cruising and there were times it felt like Garcia was running, but as soon as he found that left hook everything changed. The last 4 rounds were all drama. Haney did well to survive it. I think this will go down as a bit of a historic win. Garcia is gonna look like he's played a complete blinder with the way the fight was built up, then going in and beating a guy who sits on top of some pound4pound lists. There'll be a film made about it one day.

Oh they fucked it for sure. I do think DAZN had the right intentions to begin with, I think they probably found out pretty quickly that the model wasn't going to pay off. The initial trial price has always haunted them because a lot of people still throw the "it used to be £1.99" line at the even though it was always stated as a temporary trial price. Im currently locked into a £9.99 a month price until next March. They are gonna need to drastically improve the content to make me lock in again though.

Can't blame you wand. they are starting to put all their bigger fights on PPV now and they still cranked the price up. It wouldn't have been so bad if they'd announced the increase with an announcement that they were adding some top tier football or something, but nothing. Really poor, and judging by the reaction, it's backfired, a lot of people are leaving the platform.

This weekend: One of absolute weirdest builds to a fight ever. Should it even be happening? Who knows, but it is. Ryan Garcia is either doing the greatest troll job of all time, or he's genuinely in the midst of a full blown mental breakdown. I think it's the latter.

Yeah, its a hell of a lineup. Nick Ball doesn't mind being thrown in with the wolves does he, what a guy. Looking at it, I wanted to pick a score on how I think it would play out over the 5 fights, but I really dont know who id pick in most of these.

Yeah, Gaethje had a rough first couple of rounds. The spinning kick at the end of round definitely changed the course of the fight, Gaethje was clearly in a lot of discomfort after that. The broadcast never really touched on it, but a few times it looked like Gaethje turned away in an odd fashion to avoid strikes, probably all down to the pain he was feeling through that busted beak. Crazy fight, amazing finish.
