  1. Yeah, you gotta think that original 332 plans fell through. I just don't see why a title fight needs to headline a numbered event, as long as it's a big fight which people want to see, I don't see what difference it makes.
  2. Yeah, he completed the game did ol' Urijah.
  3. We need not have worried. Parnasse is a real one. Outstanding.
  4. Yeah some conflicting reports online at the moment regarding his condition, but it doesn't sound good. Hoping he pulls through.
  5. I don't hate the card, I think they've stuck a title on that main event in desperation cause they couldn't land another title fight to headline. I don't know if its a contract thing where they need to have so many numbered events per year, but i'd have been perfectly happy with them changing this to a "Fight Night" with Figgy/Talbot headlining. You'd avoid the backlash at least.
  6. I think Faber has always been a very savvy businessman, at one point I believe he owned a whole street which his Alpha Male fighters lived in, I'd imagine he set himself up nicely for the future.
  7. Roberto Soldic debuting though πŸ˜ƒ
  8. Amosov is definitely an exception to the rule, it felt like he sneaked in the back door with little hype though. It seems to be the hyped fighters who come in and shit the bed. Even the Pride fighters back in the day, very few came in and wowed us. It was quite depressing.
  9. Watch Parnasse go out there and be another Patchy Mix...
  10. The whole thing is a mess.
  11. Yeah, I also need to go back and watch some older Barnett fights.
  12. Dunno if anyone caught this, but Glover Teixeira boxed Shogun Rua in Brazil last weekend and by all accounts beat the piss out of him. Shogun doesn't need to be taking this head trauma.
  13. Vice have stuck up the first episode of Dark Side of the Cage on youtube... get some Mayhem Miller down you.
  14. Actually planning on watching this live Saturday, will be the first show ive seen as its happening in years. Hoping the French crowd brings it.
  15. That one uppercut Moses landed right on the bell (maybe after round 6) was the moment i knew Hrgovic might get him, that shot would have dropped a horse. Hrgovic barely blinked.
  16. Caught a main event spoiler but watched the rest, good show!
  17. One of the albums that defined that youth that, but they couldn't have picked two worse dates for them shows for me. Hoping they announce a tour next year.
  18. Absolute worst scenario type stuff for Moses in ring. He may learn from it going forward but that will be a damaging loss. To completely empty the tank like that and still have a monster like Hrgovic walking you doing that you threw the kitchen sink at must have been a pretty scary and humbling experience. I don't know if it has anything to do with Davison's guidance or more than Moses simply isn't used to having someone stand up to his power. He could probably have cruised 12 rounds if he'd conserved energy, he probably could have from round 6 too and boxed to a decision but he tried everything he could to knock Hrgovic out. Hrgovic is a fucking Terminator, incredible chin. As much as it sucks to see Moses lose though, it was still another cracking, dramatic heavyweight fight, they all seem to be delivering at the moment. Undercard was ok. Noakes/Berinchyk was decent but it was apparent early that Berinchyk didn't have the fire power to make it interesting. Moses Jolly had a huge win pinched from him. I'd imagine he did enough to get signed by Queensbury though, he deserves a crack. Likeable lump. Ursu/Vaughan was the pick of the undercard, really like the look of Ursu, great combination of slickness despite being a bit of a horrible fucker in there. Still don't know what to make of Nelson Hysa. I see stuff about his fights being "fixed", and last night's kind of leaned into that a little. It was a decent shot but Narmo was acting like he'd been knocked out by a sledge hammer. Who knows? There's questions there, Albanian boxing is shady. Hysa ain't going far at 42, but they'll use him as much as they can cause he sells tickets.
  19. Tonights PPV card: Solid across the board that for me. Noakes/Berinchyk could very well steal the show show.
  20. From what im reading Perry and Danis are pretty friendly outside of the ring so i'd imagine Perry thought he could trust the ballbag.
  21. Danis royally fucked them over. The injury he has looks nasty, but there's claims that it happened a while ago and he held out until 2 days before the event to pull out. I don't know much about the other "Influencer" types on the card but hopefully they have name enough to shift some PPV's. Mike Perry has had to take over a 50% pay cut to stay on the card too.
  22. Perry/Danis is offπŸ˜„ Apparently Brandon Jenkins stepping in to fight Perry. Duel Arena off to a stinker.
  23. It's Influencer fighting, they'll take anyone.
  24. That weird influener crossover event goes down this weekend, Duel Arena takes place this weekend. It'll cost you Β£15. Not a lot stands out to me but it's full of influencer types I know nothing about. I'll try finding a copy though, would like to see the Manuwa fight as well as the main event. Duel Arena 1 Main Event 170 lbs.: Mike Perry vs. Dillon Danis – MMA Duel Arena 1 Co-main Event Heavyweight: Paul "Gypsy Crusader" Miller vs. Ben "King" Azoulay – Kickboxing Duel Arena 1 Main Card Heavyweight: Jimi Manuwa vs. Chase Sherman – Boxing 145 lbs.: Blake Anthony vs. Nate Morrow – MMA 175 lbs.: Phil Rowe vs. Javanis Ross – Boxing Heavyweight: Alex Nicholson vs. Brad Taylor – MMA 200 lbs.: "Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark Jr. vs. Ryan Pownall – Boxing 165 lbs.: Jack Grady vs. Wade Stokan – Influencer boxing Duel Arena 1 Prelims (Free on YouTube) 155 lbs.: AJ Cunningham vs. Joe Penafiel – MMA 165 lbs.: Daniel Cao vs. Mason Ajester – Boxing 120 lbs.: Shane King vs. Thomas Phillips – Boxing
