I'd imagin the best bet for life in our solar system (outside of Earth obviously) would be Europa.
While this would be true, isnt the moon europa in a Pre-earth state at the moment? And could you imagine what the aliens from that place would be like? On earth its water that can be a gas/liquid/solid, on europa its methane.
Â
Thay would stink the joint up!
Â
For those who dont know, Europa is a moon off of either saturn/jupiter that has lakes of methane on it. Its still stupidly cold up there, but if the right temp for methane to be a liquid as well as a gas. It also rains on Europa, although aparently the rain drops are huge, but because of the atmosphere, they float down insted of falling, much like our own rain.
Â
Â
I think you're mixing it up with another moon.
Â
Europa is a frozen moon of Jupiter that is believed to have a 60 mile deep ocean under a layer of ice.

Thats assuming they havent found a way to circumvent that. Space folding has been theorised by both Hawking and Einstein.

The UN is denying they have/are appointing an 'alien abassador'.

Yeah, Count Orlok, thats the character from Nosferatu.
-
Isn't that Count Orlock?
Â
Â
Not that it matters...

Seven got suspended and as a result a few people have changed their avatars in protest or somesuch. It makes no difference to Sevens suspension, just annoys a few people on the board.
Â
Thats about it really. Couldnt give a shit myself.

Carre, who describes himself as his own worst critic
Â
Â
He'd be rather wrong it seems.
Â
Â
setting up CCW, Carre -
What the fuck???
Â
Thats just... fucking hell.

I have to agree with Carbomb, I'm a big fan of ol' Maxx. Though maybe I have shit taste as I like seeing Donny Bull squashing people...
-
Awww shit, he was a nice guy as far as I ever saw.
Â
RIP and my thoughts go to his family and friends.
-
If I had the money I'd pay it the once, just to see if he's as charismatic a speaker as Im told. No other reason, the guys obviously a fruitloop.
-
Thanks for that. Shame its overshadowed by his crazy shite then.
-
Obviously my Ike knowledge must be low, so whats he ever said thats worth paying attention to? Everything I know of the guy is totally worth dismissing.

Drunk Roy Cropper is almost as funny as drunk Phil Mitchell.
Â
And I'm enjoying them remaking The Kipper and The Corpse.
-
was a little annoyed they decided to cut out the bit about Juggernaut being his half-brother, especially as they'd cast a British actor in the role.
Â
Â
Yeah and the fact he was a Mutant in it also.
Â
He's a mutant in the Ultimate Marvel universe.

The way I see it is that both DC and Marvel have 'multiverse' rules, alternate realities and the like. In some they change characters ethnicity, sexuality or gender. So when a character is different to how we expect its easy just to say 'well its not one of the shown comic universes'. So as I say, no big deal to me.

Didnt bother me at all.

For those who are interested in black peoples portrayals in comics history.
-
Trivia: John Stewart as Green Lantern was the first black superhero ever portrayed in comics.
Â
Â
Not true. Black Panther preceded him by about 5-6 years. Also about two years before him was The Falcon.

I wouldnt say that Batman does the right thing anymore than what he thinks is the right thing. It all comes down to your views on crime and punishment really.
Oh yeah, I got what you mean. The fanboys would possibly get arsey about Bats being a 'vigilante' rather than a superhero, however since he's part of the JLA, I think it can be excused. The thing with John though is that he does what he thinks is the right thing to do. That doesn't always mean that it is - primarily because his moral compass is broken.Incidentally, I think that's one of the things that makes him hands down the best character in comics today. Hell, one of the reasons I write is because I aim to write Hellblazer one day.
Thats debateable. I mean more because batman has no superpowers and is a 'hero' not a superhero. I made the mistake of saying Batman was a superhero on a superhero forum and got some right shit from the comic version of ROHbots.Besides, Constantine generally does the right thing in the end. Like Han Solo.
Batman has a functioning moral compass, though.True, though he's closer to superhero than Batman is. Constantine does have supernatural powers at least.
Constantine has tried to quit in the past. OK it lasted about 3 frames, but you know. lol Besides, lets see if he smokes in the sequal.
He quit smoking and ended up chewing gum. They couldn't have gotten it any more wrong.
True enough, but I think they got the basics right. And thats far better than I expected them to, so I came out of it happy.
I probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't laid claim to the title 'Constantine', and then raped the character.I actually enjoyed the film, it wasnt a patch on the comics true, but I thought it was pretty good for all that. Horses for courses I guess.

Woah there, Hellblazer was a fantastic comic. Dont be putting down Constantine.
Watchmen was amazing, I can't believe I forgot it, one of my top 3 films of all time.As for the others, I'm talking superheroes really.
Depends how picky you want to get.Watchmen was a hit.And from DC owned prints you have:ConstantineStardustRoad To Perdition. All of which made significant profits and/or got good reviews.I've got a feeling Green Lantern will be really good, I think DC comics have a lot to prove after all the successful great Marvel movies, DC's only hits in the last 20 years have been the Batman ones.
