I said it before in here, but that could end up being the match.
There’s genuine history there, and it’s not as laboured as getting back to Roman/Cody.
Hopefully it turns Seth back heel proper, as he’s a shitter face than he is a bad guy.
Completely agree.
Rollins vs Rhodes Wrestlemania Night 1
Roman Reigns vs LA Knight Wrestlemania Night 2
-
The crowd seems ready for Rollins vs Rhodes again going off that opening segment.
-
Be interesting to see what Cody does between now and Mania season though.
Doesn't seem to be a lot jumping out on the Raw side of things for him.

The idea of Roman spending the Autumn and Winter mixing it up LA Knight (hottest lad on the show) and Gunther (longest reigning Champions of the modern era) would rule. Or even Sheamus or Drew. Fucking anyone other than his immediate family. Roman’s act itself is still phenomenal, and there’s a tonne of exciting things you could do with him, I just can’t stomach anymore NXT-style melodrama with The Bloodline. We’re reaching Ciampa/Gargano levels. I’m fully expecting a 45 minute, “epic,” between Jimmy and Jey, with both guys screaming soliloquies about how much they love each other. Will probably end with something as embarrassing as this.
I'm going to predict that we won't see Roman again until the Saudi show in November, and then the Rumble-Mania season.
-
My biggest take of the last few weeks/months is that LA Knight now must be the one to win the Royal Rumble and End Roman's "reign" at Wrestlemania 40.
Yeah!
-
The biggest match AEW have is babyface Omega vs heel CM Punk.
I wonder if they ever do get there if it would headline a first stadium show in the US for them?
-
Is the Cole/MJF main event at Wembley a bit of a modern take/ throw back to Warrior/Savage at Summerslam 92?

Jey won't win, but god damn it'll be emotional. The Rock returning to confront Greyson and not in the Roman/Jey match is shit though.
Where is that from?! Surely that isn't happening.
-
If the natural order of AEW World Champions now isn't babyface MJF - heel CM Punk - babyface Kenny Omega then what is this company even doing?
-
I'd like to see Ospreay vs Jericho.
I hope they don't cram everyone onto the show and keep it fairly sensible.
Could see something like the following...
Trios Title - HOB vs LFI
Tag Titles - FTR vs The Hardys (Rampage Battle Royal winners? Not a spoiler just a prediction)
Jericho vs Ospreay
Women's Title - Storm vs Shida
Omega vs Takeshita
Darby/Sting vs Christian/Luchasauras
International Title - Cassidy vs Moxley
TBS Title Statlander vs Saraya
Cm Punk vs Ricky Starks
World Title - MJF vs Adam Cole

What a weird show. AR Fox getting this level of attention feels very much like a QT Marshall push. It was nice to see Swerve get a win, but if the intention is to hold a match between Darby and Fox or involving Darby and Fox at All In or All Out, that would be quite surprising.
Given the month AEW has ahead, I'm really baffled at what they're doing.
That said, I'd absolutely be in favour of Moxley vs. Cassidy at one of the two PPVs. It feels interesting and fresh, and Cassidy is arguably AEW's hottest champion right now; having him forced to step up a gear against someone dangerous, unpredictable and established like Moxley would be a lot of fun.
MJF/Cole is great, and I'm starting to wonder if they'll turn Cole, and not MJF. His comments to Strong may have been innocuous, but they could also easily have been planting the seeds for Cole to become the betrayer. I think Cole is a better face than heel; but if it is the spark needed to kick off an MFJ face run, I'm fine with that.
The Callis/Jericho storyline is really enjoyable too, but Tay Conti and Anna Jay should be kept away from any role that requires acting for now.
Well on Collision last week Darby said he was facing the TNT champ at All Out because he won the Royal Rampage match.
I was thinking we might get Darby/Sting vs Christian/Luchasauras at All In but now I'm thinking it will be something to do with Swerve/Fox.
-
Hopefully because that was a load of nonsense.
-
I agree with whoever said that should really be the end of the BCC now. Seems a perfect time for them to disband.
Maybe Mox can finally take his vacation now. Bring him back after All Out.
If everyone stopped being such babies the next feud for the Elite is nicely waiting over on Collision for them.
Ibushi, good lord he was bad.
-
Shotzi shaving her hair to no reaction at all was pretty funny.
LA Knight superb. Which means it will be Santos vs Theory at Summerslam.

This week’s show had something more exciting than anything we’ve had on Rampage for a while... We’re getting Orange Cassidy vs Lance Archer this weekend! How’s he going to escape with the title this time?!
Lance Archer loses every match he has against a half established name, Orange will be fine 😆
-
I was hoping this would lead to MJF/Cole at All In, then MJF/Punk at All Out.
Punk wining the Owen should put him right at the top of the contenders.
They have to have a World Title match at the Wembley show surely?!

Sometimes fantasy booking brings some cracking ideas that make a lot of sense.
I stand corrected.
I know you are trying to be clever, but it's hardly fantasy booking. I just think he should be the BCC's 5th man.
Obvious history with Omega, aligned himself with Don Callis at the last PPV.
Why wouldn't he be a good fit?
-
Will Ospreay should be the BCC 5th man, that would be ideal.
-
Probably doesn't matter that much, but Logan Paul hasn't won in nearly a year now.
That's probably why they are putting him against Ricochet as he's expendable.
Having LA Knight lose to him wouldn't have gone down well I don't think.
-
Couldn't stand Eli Drake in TNA all those years ago, warmed to him a little during NWA Power though.
Ridiculous how over he is in WWE at the minute though.
Surely a Summerslam US Title win is on the cards?

The post-traumatic Sami disorder is very strange. They’ve very clearly moved on.
I just think it would be really cool to come back to it next year with a Sami rumble win.

The Rock 😎
Could see Roman/Solo at Survivor Series maybe. Solo as face for a short time before maybe a double turn there, with Heyman siding with Solo.
You could then get to Cody/Solo at Mania, I'm sure they could heat it up but right now it sounds the most underwhelming Mania main event ever.
-
Not sure who I want to dethrone Roman.
Jey at Summerslam to bring a an incredible 3 year story to a close, or Sami winning the rumble and taking it off him at Mania, playing into the master strategist character about how he destroyed the Bloodline from within and now will take the last thing he has.
It absolutely shouldn't be Cody though, just because he wears a suit and says some silly big words.
-
Any chance they can get Ospreay as the 5th man for the BCC or is he doing some nonsense in Japan?
-
Only if Sami Zayn rocks up.

Punk is great.
The fact he now has the power to send people home or not let them in the building is hilarious.
The man has played a blinder.
