Lesnar winning is...a choice, but then I don't book for the worlds most successful wrestling business so I'll trust their judgement.
I'm guessing it's so we can get a 3rd match out of them at Summerslam.

I know Cody is the plan but i just think there could be some mileage in Sami winning the rumble and revisiting Sami/Roman, only this time Roman is all alone after the bloodline has all abandoned him.
Sami winning the belt at Mania 40 after all there history would be such a fantastic moment.
-
The dynamic in how the characters have switched in this Bloodline story has been superb.
What's next? Roman vs Jimmy at MITB? Or are we getting Roman/Solo vs The Usos?
-
Is Bryan fucked? Noticed he hasn't done anything physical for a while.
Always there but doesn't seem to be involved.
Hopefully it's just a few knocks clearing up and it's not his head again.

Seconded

Fucking hell, that would be awful. There's nothing interesting left for Reigns to do with the belts for that length of time even on a part time basis. Let him get to the precious 1000 days and pull the fucking trigger on Cody. He can't scratch his arse for another ten months.
It is.
I would say it's pretty clear that's what the plan is though.
Roman winning the tag titles in the meantime is a nice deflection that there is nobody credible to challenge for his world title in the next 10 months.

Is Jay White another one of those "good in Japan" types?

Why? You put the TNT and International titles on opposite shows, the Tag and Trios titles on opposite shows and the Women's and TBS titles on opposite shows with the AEW Champ flitting between the two. Job done.
Surely you have seen by now that AEW love a title, especially introducing new ones.
-
Brand Split = more titles.
Good lord.

Why on earth would people not want him back? It's not like your football team signing Carlton Palmer. Even if you think he's a twat, which he is, just think of all the drama and unintentional hilarity his return causes, in the short or long term. It's wrestling.
People take it all a bit too seriously.

I think this is something they'll genuinely have to consider. No way Punk's body holds up for a long term feud, if he tries to keep up with the pace of the Bucks/Omega his body will turn to dust before you know it.
If i was booking it it'd be short and sweet. Two matches: first up CM Punk/FTR vs Omega/Bucks with CMFTR going over. Then you run Omega vs Punk with Omega going over. Then move the fuck on to other things as quickly as possible.
Yep i agree with this.
It's all it needs to be.
On paper, there isn't many more bigger matches you can do in AEW than Punk/Omega.

Yeah, why wouldn't they want to work with someone they strongly dislike who publicly lambasted and humiliated them then physically assaulted them?
FUCKING GROW UP!
Oh boo bloody hoo.
Get out there and make some money, they don't have to be pals with him.
-
If Omega and The Bucks aren't keen in working with him, I would suggest they grow up.
-
Hopefully they price this correctly as it's a hell of a task to get Wembley anywhere near full.

BuT hE's ToXiC.

yeah Cody would have been boo'd by the time Summerslam rolls around.
Reigns vs Gunther main even of Mania 40 for me.
-
I've stayed up to watch a live event once, which was Wrestlemania 17.
Thought after that never again, I can sort of understand why folk do it for a PPV but it's much more enjoyable the evening after with some snacks at a normal time in my opinion, pretty easy to stay away from spoilers too if that's what is concerning you.
Staying up for live Raw's though is just absolute madness that i will never understand.
-
Is it correct that Roman is off on his holidays now until Summerslam in August?
-
I thought the vast majority of both night was superb.
Could have done without Edge/Finn though. The only real dud of the 2 nights for me
Cody winning the belt in Saudi will be the biggest anti climax of all time.
-
Announce Roman Reigns vs The Rock for Mania 40.
Cody clearly isn't the one.

Just saw somebody make a "obviously joking but just imagine if" suggestion that it winds up with Blood and Guts with Blackpool Combat and Punk vs the Golden Elite of Omega/Bucks/Page/Ibushi.
Thats the dream 🙏

The opening price offered by a bookies has nothing to do with the amount of money placed. It's the opening price, no money has been taken yet. The opening price is set by a bookmaker based on what knowledge they have of the situation. If the price changes after that it can be one of two things. 1. The amount of money bet, if it's a lot it will shorten the price, or if it's not as much as expected they might push it out to try and encourage people to bet. Or 2. New information comes in and the price is changed to reflect that.
I can't imagine any bookies are taking massive bets on wrestling in either volume or size of bet. Wrestlemania isn't like Cheltenham, no one is having 400 grand to win 133 on Cody like someone had 400 grand to win 580 on Enurgemene in the Champion Chase are they.
Out of interest how do we know no money has been taken yet?

Pretty sure it does. It's said that Taker was winning right up until the day of the show when Vince changed his mind and decided he wanted to beat Taker in case he was going to retire and he'd never get chance to get the value off it. Odds makers have their ears to the ground of "insider talk" so if the odds on Cody are short, it means those in the know are currently whispering that Cody's currently pencilled in to win. That's what it means. It doesn't necessarily mean that come show end he's 100% nailed on to win as plans are always subject to change, but it's a misnomer to say it doesn't mean anything.
Best example I can think of in recent times was how Bubba/Brother Ray shed weight, gained muscle and reinvented himself as the heinous Bully Ray who would have been a fine (at least) upper midcard heel only to march back into a Rumble as "Oh look! One of the Dudley Boys came back. Just one, mind."
The more people who put money on Cody means the odds will go down, that's how they work.
Pretty sure Skybet haven't got the insider talk on what is happening in WWE.

Skybet offering 1/3 odds on Cody winning. They mustn’t have heard about the AEW stink.
They also offered 1/10 on The Undertaker beating Brock at WM30. Doesn't really mean anything.
I'm hoping they give Cody his moment here while he's hot, i had a feeling him winning the belt would be a huge anti climax after the Sami story but now it feels like Roman winning would be the anti climax.
They can build "The Rematch" for Saudi if they have too, as at Backlash i want the full on Bloodline split with after teasing it at Mania the Uso's finally walk away from Reigns.
Could have a 6 man of Cody, Sami & Owens vs Roman & The Bloodline be the main event with all the belts on the line, have Jey take the pin with Roman going mental at him and it all finally coming to a head there.

High I would say. They will probably be striking at least 2 Saturdays a month for the foreseeable.
