Saw someone tweet what are they going to do when Cody has to feud with someone Dusty has never met and I genuinely don't know.
Draft was the biggest waste of time ever.

With Kenny coming back next week, got me wondering whatever happened to Kota Ibushi?Â
I thought he was signed to AEW but to be honest I had forgotten all about him.
-
Did Swerve and Fletcher really go 15 minutes?! 😒
Only seen the last angle and didn't mind it, guessing it will tie in with Kenny coming back next week.

Punk/Drew, Priest/Balor and the Uso's tag match could happen.
No chance on the other two though.

The Mogul Embassy?
I'd like to think they would be out of the picture by then.
A right bunch of losers.

That's what I was thinking. I'd be fine with that if the Don Callis Family had been consistently pushed as a big deal and a major threat but they've been regularly forgotten about and ignored since the summer to the point they barely feel like a faction let alone a real threat.
Me personally, if they absolutely must do these annually then some kind of Team Hangman vs Team Swerve in Blood & Guts would fit the bill better. Fold in a bunch of singles feuds into one big bloody extravaganza.
Yep I agree, would be a fun few weeks of TV too with Hangman and Swerve trying to get people on to there teams.
I mean who the fuck would want to team with Swerve?!
-
Bloody ITV eh, they don't deserve wrestling.

I think Scotty's issue was that he entered before Joe, so just had to stand in the ring and take the insult, when if he'd known the song ahead of time he would have insisted on coming out second so he could act fired up and annoyed by it.Â
Yeah fair enough, thought while watching it that Scotty looked a bit of a mug just standing there taking it.
-
Is this on ITV next week with it not being one of the original PPV's?

he got some genuine heat with Scotty Too Hotty over this one.
Why?! Or is it folk taking themselves too seriously again?

She's never left AEW or had a spat to my memory, are we possibly confusing the Big Swole story?Â
Anyway it's shit what the OSAC are playing at and it's great seeing her handle so well and be wonderfully supported too, Anthony Bowens was brilliant in his response.
Ah that could be who I am thinking of to be fair.
-
I always thought she left because of some spat with TK, must have read something wrong somewhere!

Absolutely awful. I really hope Tony Khan or the company as a whole takes a stance on this, and that a strongly worded response is issued. We're entering dangerous territory (or perhaps we're already there) when major organisations and powerful people are scared to speak out against discrimination in fear of losing a PR war; when the side they're worried about pissing off consists of bigots and the misinformed.Â
And yeah, Nyla is a brilliant Twitter follow, and continues to be one of the more underutilised talents on the AEW roster.Â
Didn't she leave AEW a good while ago?

I found it funny that Solo was going on about how wins and losses matter, yet since beating John Cena at the Saudi event back in October he has lost all but one of his TV matches since, and even that ended in a no contest.
Agree that at Mania he was excellent though, and he looked like a killer on this episode of Smackdown so hopefully he can maintain it and become the new tribal chief.
Has Jacob Fatu signed too?

Cody winning was best for business. Incredible Main Event.
When is Cody/Rock happening?

People tend to cheer good guys.Â
Insane concept, I know.
Course they do 😂
-
No surprise they are booing Cody.
Why on earth would you cheer for him when he's up against a character like the Final Boss.
-
Good grief. Folk in here would have hated watching in the 90s when all the two companies did was take shots at each other.
I'm all for it, bring on any type of chaos possible.

Michael Cole calls him the greatest of all time, that will do for me 😎
-
Confirmation that the tag belts are splitting up again I noticed was quietly snuck in on commentary.
Unless both belts are grabbed by the same team of course.
-
Anything else to be added?
"Philly" Street fight with Lashley, Kross & co?
Another women's singles match?
-
I think Rock pins Seth on Night 1 after Drew gets involved.
-
Unreal that there was folk who didn't want The Rock back, he's incredible.
I'm hoping the next year goes -
Cody beating Reigns at Mania.
Rock and co beating the shit out of Reigns to write him out until next years Rumble.
Rock beating Cody at Summerslam.
Reigns returning and beating Rock at Mania 41.

Wait, what? How on Earth did WWE jerk him around? He's been earmarked as THE GUY from day dot. He's always been main event/top of the card, usually with some title in tow. Only times he hasn't been the top champ really is when Brock had the belt, and really Roman was still The Guy back then because he was actually the one on TV every week.
All I can think of is Seth cashing in at Mania 31. And that only happened because the fans were rejecting Roman, I wouldn't call that WWE jerking him around.
Wrestlemania 34 was the big one.
That was a huge mess with him losing to Brock again, and then beating him in a Summerslam match nobody really remembers a few months after.
