I've got Bobby Heenan managing Blackjack Lanza at St. Louis TV in July 1969. Cool! Good thread.

RTE 2 used to play this montage at closedown for years after the 2002 World Cup. Remember arriving home at 1 or 2am and in my early drinking career and looking forward to it!

This was splendid!

It's funny how you remember games with iffy kick off times. I remember watching one of Englands group games in school (98 world cup) as it must have kicked off at 2pm or 3pm. How they allowed us to watch this I'll never know.
World Cup 2002 the Brazil game I remember watching before work in our canteen and them allowing us to start work later/work through lunch/finish later. I'm sure on that day the Tube was empty as most of the nation stayed at home.Â
If I remember correctly, the A Level Maths exam started at 9am the morning England played Brazil. So, bang on the start of the second half. Unlucky, fellow children.

I went to the gym every day from mid-August to mid-March, almost exclusively cardio. Managed to get down from 16 stone-ish to around 11. Have put about half a stone on in a fortnight since it's closed. Am gutted, most fitness regimines don't click with me at all, but the combination of step machine and treadmill stuff I was doing before was actually working. 😔

Stephanie?

I ended up with a Belarus shirt, somehow, back in the day. Wore it under my Wales shirt to a Wales vs Belarus game once, for giggles.

Haku's jump to the WWF in late 2000 was pretty strange, was exclusively wrestling on Heat in no time. Quickly got lost in the shuffle when the WCW influx came in after WM.
I think at one time Haku and Rikishi vs Undertaker and Kane was on the cards for Mania 17!

I actually thought the Squat Team or whatever they were called were a great fit for 1996 WWF, it's a shame they didn't stick around.

Do they get on with the Show?

Is Mongrovia on lockdown?

Dick Murdoch in the 1995 Rumble was pretty unexpected. Turns out he did a handful of house shows too and unaired segments at TV with HBK and Vince!

John Pollock suggested Laycool, which broke me. 😂

Tony Schiavone was wonderful on play-by-play. Top man!

WrestleMania needs Alexander Wright.

Simulate it next year. Macho Man vs Kurt Angle.

Loved that Blur theme. He was ahead of the curve in terms of merchandising too.

I hope all are doing okay. Found it hard today, if I'm totally honest, but obviously it's difficult for everyone. Now for some proper first world problems. I've basically moved back in with my parents and there's no WiFi in the house. Is there anyway I can remedy this fairly quickly and without spending an absolute fortune? I'm a real novice with the technology, is a dongle thing a viable alternative? Our combined income is very low at the moment, but I'm concerned I will go mad at this rate.

And Bobby Heenan's managerial swansong? Fitting if it was, with Curt against the Hulk.

Okay, so what's the contingency plan if the UKFF goes down again? Is the OTTER forum still online?

I'd say put a band on, but it's not the best time to bring out Saliva.

So across this month, TV taped at the Coventry SkyDome will air with bigger crowds than both Raw and Smackdown. Alex told us this day would come!

Perhaps the Tory thing developed after fame. She's taking a train in Overload for starters.

Virgil was still around in summer 1995? Mind blown. Wicked show.
