I'm assuming it's a play on the okada baggy tights situation, where his confidence has become eroded to the point where he's even doubting the whole full gear thing. Eventually he'll have a match where the chaps come off and the crowd lose their shit.Â
This is what wrestling has come to? 😂

Hope tomorrow is better for you, Shy Dad. Fuck employers, most of them don't have a clue how to run a decent recruitment process that treats applicants with dignity. If you can, have a few days off from it. I applied for literally hundreds of gigs before and then got offered one I didn't even see. Recruitment is a mess, but don't let it define you or what you're good at. Keep on seeing your mates. All the best.

Super Cena vs The Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak would have been incredible. Probably the biggest match they could've done post-Attitude
That was one of numerous reasons the end of the streak stunned me so. I was CONVINCED they would do that!

Should have called him Angle Bulgaria.

My goodness, that Savage/Flair Timeline was joyously brilliant. What a time to be a fan. And how good was Gene Okerlund?!

Yeah, someone (Monsoon?) talks on TV at one point about there being a third, even bigger Headshrinker.

I want Tim Storm vs Yuji Nagata, please.

I tell you what, for a B-level PPV on six days build, that was a darn good show!

As with the previous one on Bret and Owen Hart's 1993-94 feud, the new episode of Timeline (WWE Network) covering Christian vs Randy Orton is thoroughly entertaining. Can't be many better storylines from the past decade. It's episodic, logical, slow-burning and satisfying, elevating the stock of both guys and getting a load of feature matches out of them, with changing dynamics throughout.Â

Do they ever do anything like this on a go-home show and then have it stick? Would have thought they'd have put them together at the end of the PPV itself if it were to stick.

I don't think there was a Raw in that period.

Yeah, 5Star, it's one-third of the big Friday night wrestling triple-header, following 'All Elite Wrestling' on ITV4 and 'The World According to Jesse' (Ventura) on Russia Today!
