  1. Was it the bare-knuckle boxer who was on a Bravo programme (with Danny Dyer)? Remember him saying, "don't call me a pikey, call me a cunt, but don't call me a pikey".

    Aye, that's the fella.

Been watching the "Justice" series on BBC4, this was last nights.

"Harvard professor Michael Sandel examines Immanuel Kant's stringent theory of morality, which says that telling any type of lie is a violation of one's own dignity."

  2. I don't think jail is always the answer for crime it doesn't stop crime, but if you go to prison you've been taken out of society for the crime/s you committed and therefore lose your rights to participate in society. Be a good boy, leave prison then vote.

Apparently women have the vote too. I've heard they might even have prisons but that can't be right. ;)

  3. So, he was suspended for abusing a non-member then?

Doesn't bode well for anyone who posted anything negative in those "Unconventional fit birds" threads. Or those who ripped on that bird Midas went postal over.

With regards to the suspensions, we can't see our warning logs so for all we know people are one warning away from a suspension.

    EDIT -

    Be warned.

Maybe they were warned but already on a warning

  4. Also on Sky Atlantic, I caught the pilot of Six Feet Under. Can't believe I hadn't seen it before now. it was superb.

I'm in the same boat and had never even heard of it until I read up on Michael C. Hall after getting in to Dexter. I've got the pilot saved on my planner and will hopefully catch it over the weekend.

Also, does anyone watch that Gypsy programme which seems to invade my Facebook news feed every week? What's the score with it? It seems it's mainly women who watch it but a few lads I know have said it's 'essential' viewing. Are they right or are they idiots? I doubt it's my cup of tea, to be honest.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It's car crash TV to be honest. It's one of those point and laugh shows that tries to disguise its self as a fly on the wall documentary to show insight. Like those Channel 5 ones do with people with deformities.

And Six Feet Under is boss.

  5. Im still waiting for the cut and paste MP letter from Duane or even an indication of what has been said? as thus far he completely ignored that part.

Im expecting something along the lines of 'Your comments have been duly noted' Naive arent I?

Isn't it obvious? Royal Mail intercepted the letter.

Royal Mail is an anagram of "Aim Orally" and "Morally AI", so it's clear to see that they are 'aiming' to put words into your mouth at the behest of an artificial intelligence that has a dubious outlook compared to those it enslaved. I can't believe you can't see that, guess some people just use their eyes to see.

  6. Liverpool withdraws from government 'big society' pilot

The leader of Liverpool City Council has written to the Prime Minister withdrawing its involvement from his "big society" plans.

The city was one of four pilot areas for the scheme, aimed at giving community groups and volunteers more control over their local services.

But council Leader Joe Anderson said government cuts have threatened the future of many local volunteer groups.

He has now told David Cameron he can no longer support the initiative.

When he announced the "big society" in Liverpool last July, Mr Cameron said community groups should be able to run post offices, libraries, transport services and shape housing projects.

The concept would be a "big advance for people power", he said.

While reducing the budget deficit was his "duty", the prime minister said giving individuals and communities more control over their destinies was what excited him and was something that had underpinned his philosophy since he became Conservative leader in 2005.

Joe Anderson Joe Anderson said Liverpool was 'very much committed' to working with community groups

Merseyside television producer Phil Redmond has already attacked the "big society" idea, saying it has been undermined by public spending cuts.

The Brookside creator had originally been a fan of the concept, taking charge of a project involving volunteering and cultural activities in Liverpool.

Joe Anderson said in his letter: "You will recall that you announced Liverpool as one of four "big society" vanguard areas last summer with Phil Redmond leading the initiative.

"Later in the year, Liverpool City Council was asked to assist in this initiative around some key projects, including running a 'parallel vanguard programme'.

"We took up this challenge wholeheartedly and have invested significant resources to deliver this substantial programme of activity."

However, he said the government promised to work with the council to "remove some of the problems and blockages" that were preventing them from making the programme work.

He said the government had failed to deliver any of the changes the council asked for.

Mr Anderson, who is leader of the Labour Party in Liverpool, said: "Liverpool has been doing the "big society" for many years. We call it 'working with our communities' and it is something we are very much committed to."

But he said the loss of more than

  7. This might need spoiler tagging, but Kevin Nash's confirmed Sting is in WWE on his twitter:

Alright, Fuck it. Sting is fighting Trish Status in a Hell in the Cell match at Wrestlemania. Happy?

    Sounds like a cracking match.

That sounds more like winding the 'net fans up than saying, "Yeah, my buddy has signed with my new employer too."

Sounds like Ian winding people up, more like.

  8. You seem completely willing to accept the opinion of fringe commentators and random bloggers, but never willing to either read conventional news media in any depth or listen to the arguments of people on here, even if they take the time to search out info or facts for you.

Well it's the old adage, isn't it? A Conspiracy Theorist is someone who believes nothing they read in the media and everything they read on the internet.

Then again, I can't be believed as my age this year added to the year I was born ends in 111. So I'm part of the binary matrix or something.
