Wow. Just wow. If this hits the mainstream media, WWE is well and truly in the shit. Surely?!?

Why did Galaxy High end exactly? It was really good. I couldnât believe some of the topics they dealt with like when Doyle got hooked on âbrain blastersâ (basically drugs) and he started stealing to pay his dealer IIRC. That episode was nominated for an award I believe.
Iâve read about a M.A.S.K live action movie as well but thatâs yet to materialise (another quality DIC cartoon). I think Hasbro (who bought Kenner) re-registered the trademarks. There was even a Matt Trakker GI JOE figure a few years ago and there were rumours about his character appearing in one of the movies but itâs yet to happen.

But who is the more whiny cunt, Peppa Pig or Bing Bunny?
Not seen Bing Bunny before but Peppa is just a little sod. Sheâs rude, always wants her own way and is generally a bad influence on small children. Donât know what the creators were thinking but they obviously know better than me as theyâre multi millionaires thanks to their creation.

I can only guess that BT put in a ridiculous bid for WWE that even Sky refused to pay like with the Champions League. BT Sport is pretty good in that you can get legal access to it at a relatively low price if youâre with BT Internet, Plusnet or EE. You can use their App on certain Smart TVs and get everything they show in HD or you can use it with Chromecast or Apple TV. I think theyâre even working on making the App 4K. With Plusnet in particular, I think itâs currently an extra ÂŁ5 a month. Itâs actually a lot cheaper than Sky if you get it that way but Iâll be honest, Skyâs Premier League football coverage is far better.
If BT decide to put full WWE shows on demand on their App then thatâll be pretty decent for the fans. If however theyâll expect you to pay extra for a set top box to record the shows then I wonât be impressed.

I think syndication is when the studios sell their shows usually to multiple independent broadcasters and the practice is more common in the United States.
This Wiki article explains US TV quite well but itâs quite a complicated system and very different to the U.K.Â

Here's a link to a post by one of the key people involved in Real Ghostbusters run, some interesting stuff here if you're a fan:

That along with the comments explain a lot. I think when the show was on abc in America, thatâs when the consultancy company was brought in which basically ruined the show. The syndicated episodes were much better but being British, I remember the whole series being on ITV.

For me the best cartoon of all time is the Real Ghostbusters, so well written and looks and sounds so great, it will never be topped.
Dungeons and Dragons is another one that's still a good watch, some really good stories on that as well and the background music is awesome.
Think I might have to agree with you on the Real Ghostbusters. I watched it the first time around as a child in the mid to late 80s and didn't appreciate it as much back then. Having watched the show again as an adult on Netflix from start to finish fairly recently, I can't get over how good the first couple of series were. The quality of the writing, the jokes (particularly the one-liners) and some of the animation was superb. There are a lot of jokes and situations in there that only adults would get which surprised me from a DIC Enterprises Cartoon. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and after the first two series, I believe an external consultancy company were brought in to fix a cartoon that wasn't broken. The actress who played Janine was replaced. As was Lorenzo "Garfield" Music as Peter Venkman (replaced by Full House's Dave Coulier). Although Coulier wasn't bad, he couldn't deliver the sarcastic one-liners as well as Lorenzo Music. Rumour has it Bill Murray told the show's producer's that as Peter Venkman sounded more like Garfield than him, it caused the producers to recast. The show was much more of a dumbed down kid's programme after the the first two seasons and never really recovered.
Dungeons and Dragons was also a quality cartoon. A lot of 80s cartoon background music was great whether it was in Marvel or DIC Enterprises cartoons.

Yep. I remember him cutting a promo around this time where he was acting nervous and saying how he "wasn't scared" (when obviously he was). The acting was simply brilliant. I can only think that the fact Luger walked out of the WWF overnight and showed up on the first Nitro the next evening left some bitterness from people in the WWF at the time which is probably why their version of history hasn't been too kind to Lex.Â

How fucking happy does Vince look there? Like he's thinking the bad times are over and everyone's ready to jump back on the Hulkamania train. Bret who??
Always found this footage odd. Especially as Vince was still in his years of trying to have everyone believe he was just an announcer rather than the owner of the company. Although Hogan was still the main man at the time, this was a really poor ending to any pay per view, let alone a Wrestlemania. Vince's reaction must've made things even worse for Bret to take.

Vickie Guerrero has tweeted her support for Trump's wall.
Not exactly "Top Twitter" as such but it's caused a reaction as you can imagine. Shocking really.

Well yes, of course City have spent more. For a club of Fulham's size though, they spent mega club-equivalent money in the summer. But yeah you're probably right in that they didn't use the money wisely, as they're 2nd from bottom of the Premier League and 5 pts from safety at the moment.
I think Fulham have a side that would breeze through the Championship but struggle in the Premier League. I canât see them surviving but stranger things have happened. Might depend on how they address the situation in the transfer window.

Eh? Spent relatively little?? They had the fourth biggest net spend in the PL last summer. They spent shitloads! They also outspent Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona and had a similar net-spend to PSG (who bought Mbappe for 145m Euros).
I'm willing to bet that the likes of Man City have outspent Fulham by a considerable amount during the last few years. If they really have spent that much, then quite frankly they haven't used the money wisely.

I'm not buying this whole "They have a billionaire" thing. Â Daddy Khan might be a billionaire but he isn't going to be spending that billion on it. Â For context, ROH is owned by collective billionaires, that hasn't translated into making it dining at the same table as Vince. Â The McMahons made their money through wrestling, the Khans didn't. Â I can't see them splashing their cash massively on this at all. Â Sure, small change to them is still a huge amount. Â But small change is all they'll achieve on the stage of wrestling.
Agreed. Khan's ownership of Fulham FC hasn't exactly gone great so far. OK, they're back in the Premier League but they're really struggling and have spent relatively little when compared to several other teams in the league. If All Elite Wrestling does well then great but I'm not expecting them to be much competition to WWE. At least yet anyway.

I recently rewatched Halloween Havoc 98 for the first time in twenty years and listened to the 83 Weeks Podcast on the same subject. I think a lot of people ignore this event as being a big factor in WCW's downfall. Not only was there a Hogan and Warrior rematch that was simply terrible but the main event of DDP and Goldberg cut out for a lot of cable providers in America part way through the match. The show had a really good buyrate but that was a lot of paying customers that WCW must have annoyed right there. I don't think they ever really recovered from this.

Such a shame that a millionaire isn't back in his well paid job after he could've killed someone crashing his car whilst being pissed out of his face.

But was it a bigger story than âMegan closes a car doorâ
Definitely not. Was an absolute travesty that nobody closed the car door for her. The BBC and the Royals. Worth every penny. Apparently.
