My first thought is the chunky lad from the micro machines game boy game. He was rubbish. So yeah, they'll probably change it to CHUNK or somethingÂ

I was looking at the Newcastle Set List on setlist.fm (If you like reliving old gigs, check it out, bookmarked it ages ago) and then looking back at previous night. Looks like they've been mixing it up on the tour.Â

That was freakin' awesome.Â

I was gushing about them a few pages back. Got tickets to see them in April at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds (where I’m also going to be seeing Built To Spill). Didn’t think I’d get to see them, let alone of the back of a decent comeback.
Was at the Brudenell last Saturday in the Community Lounge. (Big Country were in the main one). Good venue.Â

Counting down the hours until doors. It will be the first time I've seen all four bands, sadly my first time for Slayer is also my last time, but at least I'll get to see them (obviously minus Hanneman)Â

Been playing through Shenmue 1 and I can't remember most of the game, it has been that long since I played it. Sure, I remember certain things, but it's playing it for the first time all over again for the most part.Â
Take, for comparison, FFVII which I had a replay through a couple of years back and I pretty much remembered everything, and that games even older.Â
I know exactly what most of my spare time for the next week or so is going to consist of. -

There have been a few early bugs in them (not counting the cockroach in Ryo's kitchen), but a new patch is due by the end of this week. Enjoy. 🙂
I think a few have been guilty of underestimating the demand for it, since the collection debuted at #2 in last week's charts and plummeted this week with many shops having sold out, going by a range of anecdotal reports - backed up by the fact that in the same period it's risen from top ten to top three in France.
It's not for everyone, mind. People who go in expecting Sleeping Dogs or Yakuza will be caught off guard by the slower pace, and if they don't bear in mind when it was made they won't appreciate that it was one of the first big steps toward those games.
But for those it gets its hooks into, even playing for the first time in 2018, it fills a void that they didn't know existed. So I'll always recommend people give it a chance unless you really, really don't have the patience for anything dated or light on action.
It arrived today. So, I know what I'll be doing later.Â

Got the remastered Shenmue 1+2 on eBay a couple of days ago, so if the Royal Mail Gods are smiling on me today, that's tonight's plan.Â

Used to work with a Dr Nick Payne.
He was a bloody good lad, but his name worked on 2 levels.Â
Not only does Dr Payne sound like a wrestler, on greeting him I could say Hi Dr Nick.Â
