    Queuing outside the tiny Planet Nightclub in Wolverhamption for Fight Club Pro back in 2012/2013, and some lads who were well into their pre-drinking for the night, wondered over to check out the big queue.

    "What's all this for?", one of them asked aloud.

    One of the guys queuing behind me said something like, "It's for a pro wrestling show!" and we all cringed hard.

    "What, like fucking Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold and that? In there?!? Fuuuuuuck of!!!" and the lads wandered away laughing. 

    Embarrassing for me, and embarrassing for my mate who I had hyped up this show to.

    I remember coming back from Insurrextion 2003, a load of us, wrestling shirts, signs, the lot. 

    We were leaving Heworth Metro and there was a group of chavs hanging around, heard one of them loudly proclaim

    "Eeeh, I wouldn't fucking dare go to a wrestling show". 

    2003 and that line has stuck in my head since.

    Coming back from the match last weekend, ended up in Wetherby, went to a chippy called The Frying Pan. 

    Got a Special and Chips. 

    A special is basically an extra large haddock. Bloody gorgeous though. Chippy I'd highly recommend, shame it's so far away from home.

    Chances are I’ve probably had craic with several of you over the years at the Dragon Gate & Noah tours, or maybe a 1PW/101 event, without realising who we were. If It was you, you seemed very canny.

    I've met a few others that used to post here. Not sure of anyone else though. 

    Last wrestling show I was at was 4FW in Swindon earlier this year, so if you were there, hello.

    I played Gavin Rosedale's guitar when Bush played Newcastle about 19 years ago. 

    By played, I mean strummed three notes during Greedy Fly. 

    Also called Justin Hawkings from the Darkness a cunt to his face after he annoyed me one night. 

    The world does balance itself out though, as Ginger from The Wildhearts called me one a few years later.
