Watched episode 108 of Smokey Mountain Wrestling on the Network. 

It was the show where The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) signed with them. Mostly highlights and promos apart from the TV Title "Beat The Champ" match at the end. 

Tammy Fytch took some getting used to hearing though, that used to hearing Sytch. 

There's a leisure centre in Leeds called Scott Hall.

They "blue screened" maggots, roaches etc onto the ring canvas. We obviously saw it on television, but, could they see that in the arena?

I'll apologise ahead of time as I know fine well I will be late to the party on this one, but I've just discovered this and there might be others who haven't yet. 

There's a show on TalkSport 2 at 5am on a Thursday morning called Gorilla Position that is a run down of the week in WWE. 

Never heard it, just saw it on the schedule, if anyone has listened to it, is it any good? 

I subscribed to the Network over a year ago, but let my subscription lapse. 

However, I've just received an email saying "Come Back For Free" and offering me a three month subscription, so naturally I thought "I'm having that!". 

Tried to sign up and it's saying that I've signed up for a similar product before. 

I had the free month when I first signed up, but didn't everyone? 

I hope there's no entrance ramp and everyone just comes in on a rollercoaster, like an Xtreme!! version of the WrestleMania 3 carts.

Both entrants come down the aisle at the same time in the carts and have a drag race to the ring. 

Just had a call from my older brother who subscribes to the Network. He's saying it's been down since Wednesday, keeps telling him he has to subscribe, which he already does. 

Anyone else had any similar issues?

Bloody hell, now that is confusing. 

 

going back to the WWF magazine writing stuff months in advance etc I have a memory of the WWF Magazine from the time Hogan was attacked by Earthquake on the Brother Love Show, it may be a Mandela effect thing but I'm sure I remember that the attack shown on TV Hogan didn't have his Hulk Rules t-shirt on, but in the photos in the WWF magazine he did (possibly the other way round) it was over 20 years ago so I may be misremembering it but I seem to remember thinking it was odd at the time - surely it couldn't really be fake? I've still got a box of those magazines in the loft, next time I'm up there i'll have to dig them out and prove myself wrong.

I've been in the loft and located said magazine... did Earthquake attack the Hulkster on the Brother Love show on more than one occasion in 1990? If not I may have uncovered some evidence which will blow this whole wrestling game apart (once I've had the chance to sneakily scan it in at work)

However, there was another Brother Love Show at Summerslam Fever 1990 and on that one, he did.

Fred is asking for prayers. Guessing it's nearly time for The Animal then, sadly.

Can anyone remember what ECW PPV it was where Sabu ran in mid match, leapt from the ramp onto the top rope and dived into the ring? 

I remember being impressed by that one move and would love to see it again.
