Not really surprised at the inclusion of dogs in this one, if that will be the case. They had loads of dogs in Red Dead Redemption too, and thats essentially a Wild West GTA.

 

There's gonna be alot of controversy if you can shoot the animals, people care more about animals than people. Remember when PETA flipped out about being able to shoot dogs in Call of Duty.

I don't think that counts as "a lot of controversy". PETA flip their lid over every little thing. There was no real outcry from level headed people. You've been able to kill dogs and other animals in games for years. You could kill all kinds of animals in Resident Evil games, granted they were aggressive, killer animals, but you could kill all manner of innocent animals in RDR. In fact, you were encouraged to do so if you wanted to get 100% completion for the game.

I just felt measuring match qualities was the only way to go to give an arguement to Fin Martin's laughable and wildly hypocritical treatment of John Cena.

Oh yeah, I'm totally with you on that point, I just felt compelled to pull you up on the "Something, lets not forget, both Randy Orton and Triple H have failed at just this year alone", bit really. My two favorite grapplers were getting bit of the short end of the stick there I felt, and I'd be damned if I just sat idly by and let it happen.

Cena brought 65/70% of (IMO) the hands down Match of the Year (or, least, mainstream match of the year, for you ROH/JapWres fans, who without fail rank those above anything WWE or TNA could do) at Money in the Bank, mainly by being a fucking awesome wrestler and enough of a big time player to get CM Punk up to a headline match to be proud of. Something, lets not forget, both Randy Orton and Triple H have failed at just this year alone.

While I agree with your overall point, is this not a bit harsh? Comparing the Cena v Punk match to the Punk v Orton one at Mania is a little tilted. Orton/Punk was a mid card feud, which got about 20 mins at the top of the first hour at Mania. The MITB match had way more build, exposure and hype. It had a much better setting being in Punk's home town (the crowd does add to the match), a much more interesting storyline for added drama to all the near falls etc. Hardly fair. And many people on here rate the Punk v HHH match to be better, so I wouldn't act as though Cena did some amazingly stellar job that nobody else can touch. For what its worth, my two matches of the year are Triple H v Undertaker and Triple H v Punk.

Oh the swob thiing is horrible. Having just had the blood test and being generally shit scared of needles the fear had shrunk my penis to about a third of it's size (so only 6 inches eh ladz! ftw) so it was even more uncomfortable. Went to the gym for the first time in about a year today. Threw up after 10 minutes. Depressing.

I can top that, went to the gym about 6 months ago now for the first ever time, ended up collapsing the same night and was written off work as I was dizzy and weak for about a week afterwards.

I do think the Gladstone one is very strange though, I mentioned it in the Paid Members forum, cause if he was indeed banned over the comment in the paypal thread, then everyone on here is skating on thin ice when it comes to banter. You cant be sure whats going to get taken in jest and what is going to result in you getting a week on the sidelines. However, I dont know for sure thats why Gladstone was banned. The mods on here have a warning system/strike policy, and its possible that Gladstone fell victim to some sort of a 3 strike rule. There is a Ban/Suspension log in the Paid Members forum, which normally says who has been banned and for what, but it hasnt been updated regarding Gladstone.

These vignettes are no more elaborate than normal for The Undertaker. Remember the ones when he was returning at Judgment Day 2000? Where the 3 little girls were playing jump rope while singing some creepy song? Then when he was coming back in time for Mania 20 and he had a load of videos that were "The Ring" rip offs?

I think context is important in cases like that. If it was the first day of the week, I would regard "this coming week" to meaning the week we are in. If it was the last day of the week, I would consider it to mean next week. When the phrase "this coming year" is used in the first two weeks of the year, common sense would dictate that he doesnt mean next year.
