Always thought it was because Stock, Aitken and whoever produced the song had no actual real knowledge and just listened for catchy sound clips. I'm punting they actually didn't know what a Survivor Series was. That "I were watching the Wrestlemania" last week when a non fan relative caught an episode of Superstars or something.

I'd bloody love to do this. My partner works in animal welfare so it's a close topic to her. Two of our three dogs are rescues she took on. I absolutely adore them and I dread thinking about what would have become of them. I've had to stop looking at rescues or adoption pages too much because honestly it would be in my head all day and I just can't cope. Really hope you win the lottery now tbh.

I don't watch it because I just don't care for TNA anymore, but that company is only dying by WWE hand or something. The resilience of that company to not go under regardless of how LOLTNA is can still be is amazing. I don't want it to go under either. I rather admire how it's kept chugging.

Didn't WCW in a roundabout way outlast it's own sale on TV? 'WCW Classics' on Turner South had stuff airing until summer 2001, with NEW post buyout segments hosted by Dusty Rhodes, with Ric Flair occasionally popping in.

I think Germany was always a good draw for WCW as well, even to the bitter end. They had a little deal doing Rebellion/Insurrextion type event's there (Millennium Final etc). I've just finished watching the available 1998 Nitro's and as chaotic as its booked, it's still really over. That WCW Jan-March 2000 is the most malaise holding pattern booking ever, between those two mental Russo periods. At least with lunatics running the booking you have something to watch that's interesting even if it's dogshit. That early period has shows dominanted by Jeff Jarrett and The Harris Brothers, Prince Iaukea as Cruiserweight champ, Lex Luger breaking every babyfaces arm. At least Screamin' Norman is about.
