There certainly was a casual fanbase as its no coincidence that the WWF's audience reached such heights, only to pretty much lose them all during the 2000's.

Between 97-2001 wrestling became cool for a period to non fans because of the edgy content and characters like Austin and The Rock. Then after a while it returned to being the usual embarrassing shit that only kids and geeks would watch.Â

All UK shows in the 90's were actually promoted by a concert promoter in the UK and not wwe, so wwe were essentially a 'bought in act'.

That's true Harvey Goldsmith featured on a couple of the tickets that I had purchased in the late 90s.

What the fuck happened to Monday Night Raw and WWE in general? Puzzles me how people can still be arsed to watch this. I get that a few still watch out of habit, but it just seems to be the same boring shite week in week out. They don't even know themselves how some of the stories are gonna pan out.

Which is worse though? slapping their thigh or stomping their feet when they throw a punch. In the mid 90s some of them would make it look so stupid. IRS used to stamp his foot even when he was on the receiving end of a 'punch'Â

I think you'll find he's a really big deal in the crisps community.
I heard he was partial to some Cheese and Onion

Looks like Ian Tate's taxi business has suffered a set back during the pandemic. Seems like he's sourcing the scenes from other European countries to fill the void on the site.

I actually thought Gangrel was going to be a big deal after his debut with the awesome music and entrance in the summer of 98. After a few months he hardly appeared on Raw and became a jobber.Â

Your clever attempt to make me look like an arse, didn't work.

The full box set of Bates Motel is now on the iPlayer. Well worth a watch if you've never seen it. Cracking turn from Vera Farmiga as NormaÂ

It's not that Miz is a good heel, it's just that the fucker is easy to hate. Personally I can't stand the cunt. But at the end of the day he's married to Maryse so he's clearly doing something right.

As far as the women were concerned, it was more to do with the backstage skits than the actual in ring action during the Attitude Era

He debut as a heel so he was supposed to be booed. Kurt was great from the start.
You do not boo an Olympic gold medalist. Kurt really was great from the start

Fact is, as has been said in this thread, Vince doesn't care if you watch or not.
Couldn't give a flying fuck if Vince cares or not. Only daft fuckers would spend money to watch this shiteÂ

Fuck it, Have Shane win the belt. And watch the losers online moan and whinge and then use mummy's credit card to buy another sub to The Fed's Network sub.
Probably some truth to that, anyone that's over the age of 18 that willingly pays for the Network to watch the current product needs to have a word with themselves. I can't be arsed to download the PPVs for free these days, never mind pay for them.

She was born in Middlesbrough, she'a Smoggie. And she's debated about the parmo a few times. I'd still rather watch her show than Coleen Nolan and the rest of the menopausal fuckers on ITV.

She's not a Geordie, she's a Smoggy

They always looked at Christian as the Jannetty of the team

Surely the most bizzare one would be when Vince broached the idea of being the father to Steph's kid. Apparently Steph shot the idea down pretty quick.

Makes you wonder if this is how they would've booked the men's Rumble match had there been a crowd? As others have mentioned I also thought the women's Rumble was a breeze to sit through compared to the men's.Â
-
This was the first time that I actually began to skip between entrants in a Rumble match as I couldn't even be arsed to watch the full match. Talk about lack of star power. On a side note, did Edge really have to win? Surely it'll be him Vs Orton at Mania anyway.
-
If that turns out to be right about Cena, then it would have more value than giving the spot to Lesnar to do the same old shit during Mania season.

I knew many non fans that watched occasionally during this period. It was a time when they would admit to changing over to Sky Sports 3 on a Friday night.
