I wish them all the best in this. It'll be hard no doubt, but a vibrant number 2 would be good all round. Guys like the Young Bucks do deserve a lot of credit for being incredibly ambitious and relentless in the way they have carved out a niche for themselves despite no real mainstream exposure. They will need all that relentless energy and more to establish this as a player.

You need a villain. Who wants people getting on in reality shows. If Noel plays the game right he'll be the much watch thing this year.
Barrowman just wont fuck off will he?

I'm pretty sure Heyman said he wanted a stock option in the company before he took the book. That would have slightly changed the power dynamic. Dixie also shit herself when he said who he would get rid of. Its a shame as it would have been very interesting to see how he would have done. TNA was in a healthy position TV wise. I'm sure Heyman would have brought in a helluva lot of talent that is now in WWE.

I hope Noel goes all David Van Day and plays the heel. I loved DVD basically exposing what a bunch of arses the others were in there by telling them off camera 'lets have an argument to create drama' and then them moaning to camera about how 'fake' he was. No shit love.

Bob Mortimer is great. Was never a huge Vic and Bob fan, but Bob on his own is just pure joy.

Bill Burr did a good bit on the use of the word. In America it is way more common than the UK.

I quite liked him. As Hannibal mentioned, he was directed in this and not just allowed to do what he wants. He did seem to be doing a Bowie in Labyrinth impression at times but I am ok with that. I think a lot of people were willing to hate him in this film and he was one of the better things about it in my opinion.

Got to give it to Jericho, the man knows how to stay relevant in wrestling.

Yeah it is really all over the place. I still think they need someone experienced to help JK Rowling write these as they seem all over the place. Jude Law was very good though and I thought Depp was good fun. Needs a big improvement in 3.

Its shit heat as well. It makes Ambrose look like a wanker rather than a great heel. You don't event need that element to play up the heat between Dean and Seth. Fact is, Seth turned on the SHIELD. Just have Ambrose cut blistering promos about that.

I love Alan Partridge, but I really don't get on with the stuff he's done in recent years- Alpha Papa, Mid Morning Matters, Welcome to the Places of My Life.
That's interesting. I actually think its got better. I loved the book as well. One of the few things I have genuinely laughed out loud whilst reading.
QuoteWhat is your take on Mrs Brown's Boys?
It needs Eric Idle in it

Life Of Brian being the best comedy movie ever made overrides that opinion.
Hence why i said 'bar 2 films' The TV series is shite to me as is the other films they did. It's an unpopular opinion (hence why its here) but I stick by it.
QuoteDead Parrot? The Yorkshireman? Silly Walks?
Does nothing for me. I just don't find it funny at all. Fair play you do.

The Ambrose/Renee dynamic could be interesting but its told terribly.

LIke all sketch comedy they had more misses then hits, but when it was good, it was very very good
Nah, all a lot of silly nonsense to me. Odd as with Life Of Brian and Holy Grail they made 2 absolutely brilliant films. I also like them all individually, Palin being the best obviously.

Monty Python were shit bar two films.

I think Nolan mentioned he drew on a lot of musicians as inspiration for the role so no doubt Waits probably played into it.

Isn't Tom Waits in Polar Express playing songs on top of the train? My Mum loves that film and its always a nice surprise that he pops up in it.

How long till we get people yet again apologising for his behavior? Everyone seems to skirt over the wife beating/abuse so I am sure this will be looked over when he starts crying on TV over Bobby Robson once again.

It was done the moment they fired Bryan. People felt deflated. Way to 'suspend disbelief'

He also couldn't be bloody arsed to even force change in the EU. He lazily attacked it, hyped up the fear to appeal to UKIP supporters and then put a referendum in the manifesto that he didn't even think he was going to have to honour. Coupled with austerity being proven to be an ideological choice rather than an actual necessity to cutting the deficit (which ones can also argue has contributed to the Brexit vote) means Cameron will go down as one of, if not THE, worst PM we've had since Chamberlain.
Smug wanker

I sympathise with you, but there was a lot of people saying what would happen. Gove's 'People are sick of the experts' line was the most telling. Too many people utterly ignored what was being said by people who warned what this would happen. I admire your honesty there, and I think a lot of people will be in your situation. Its why those like Farage don't want a second referendum, they know their lies can be proven wrong

I'd be genuinely concerned in the event of an election that we'd get a Rees-Mogg/Johnson type
Rees-Mogg would never run. Johnson could, but chances are he's blown his chances at it. He keeps positioning himself but the majority of Tory MPs hate him and I imagine he would lose the first round of votes.
A new Government could mean a lot of things. Mainly it could reverse Article 50 with a majority vote, or delay the date of March. It could also call for a second referendum. Or, and most importantly, a majority government would be able to get its Brexit deal through. Right now it seems any plan May brings will be voted out leading to the No deal.

Didn't PTA basically sort of remake Rebecca with Phantom Thread? Which was class.
I find Wheatley gets a lot of props despite only directing one good film (Sightseers) and one semi ok one (Free Fire) The rest is pretty awful.

I think the funny thing is, remainers and brexiters, who were divided by the original referendum are now all united at what a shit show this all is.
But the Brexiters are refusing to take any responsibility for this shit. I don't like May at all, but how they can pile on her when not a single one of them has come up with any alternative is laughable. They were never getting their idealised vision of Brexit because it doesn't fucking exist.
Anyway, she'll be gone in a week and an election will be coming up.
What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?

I really liked the last 2 series of Whitechapel. It dropped the copycat element and just went full on horror/crime show. Also Steve Pemberton is great in everything.
