  1. Speaking of jobs I have recently been approached by a company who must have seen my CV online pretty much offering a job on the plate even though I am in another job.

Took me by surprise and had an interview (although felt far from one and more like a chat) but has this happened to anyone else?

  2. I'm not too sure about Xavier not being as good. I think he has been the glue that's kept them together during all this. He may not offer much in the ring (although by no means is he terrible) but his antics at ring side and talking has helped them massively. I could never take Kofi or Big E seriously and to an extent felt neither could be rescued but Xavier has stood out to me and was the first of the three to really push the boundaries with the gimmick and the confidence has rubbed off on the other two.

Anyone who has seen the WWE 24/7 documentary thing about NXT will also know how talented Xavier Woods is as a character/actor. He's brilliant.

  3. Really enjoyed Raw this week. Seemed a lot more fresh and purposeful and to the point without any real pointless or repetitive matches that we usually see.

Main Event was quality and we saw Seth deliver a good in ring performance has maybe been missing during his title run.

Summerslam could be a good event if the build up is anything to go by.

  4. Maybe something along the lines of this for Summerslam?

    US Title

Owens vs Rusev vs Cesaro vs Cena

Wyatt vs Roman Reigns (family to reunite at battleground where Wyatt wins, maybe make it a Wyatt Family vs Roman & Dean)

Sting vs Triple H (makes sense for Sting to call a rematch)

    Kane/Undertaker vs Rollins/J&J

    World Title

Sheamus vs Lesnar (Lesnar beats Rollins at Battleground but Sheamus cashes in his MITB).

Then you can throw in a tag title match and maybe a big divas match also.

  5. Saw Swerved this week, some of it was alright and its light humour but you do wonder whether some people are in on the act. Seth seemed to really play up to his character and having seen other clips of him in various interviews and away from the ring its hard to believe he was being serious and his normal self. It's almost as if they wanted to have the WWE champion almost be the star of the show and by doing so Seth was in on the whole act.

  6. From recent memory the last stand out promos for me was one or two from the Wyatt Family vs Shield feud from both sides and Wyatts in the lead up to his match with Cena at Mania.

Having said that I do enjoy the New Day and right now they seem to be the most fun act on the show.

  7. Finally got round to watching Jurassic World last night. Much better than I thought it would be and kind of liked the little things like commercialising (I know its been covered already in the thread) and moments similar to the first film.

Also thought it was quite funny in places but its an enjoyable watch if you can put little petty things to one side, wasn't perfect and you could list a few things which could have been better but don't think it would ever beat the original anyway.

Speaking of which, its now twice they've had to evacuate the park (albeit the first time not to the public) so surely they wouldn't make another film would they in the sense that its failed twice so why would the public buy into it being safe again? But there were hints that there will be more films in future?

  8. Adam Rose looked like he was on crack when he was trembling in the ring in what I am assuming is his new gimmick.

Boring show and the whole Wyatt/Reigns thing was stupid as you couldn't even see who Wyatt was talking too so was obvious Reigns daughter wasn't there. The part in the back was better with the pictures on the wall in a creepy way but again just lead to a dead end.

  9. That was such a boring Raw.

Reigns wrestling three times is truly horrific and boring. Even a gauntlet type match would have been better to get it all over with in one go.

I quite liked the idea of The New Day threat with the world title, enjoying their act but part of me would love to see Kingston win it and all three try to cash in on Lesnar only for him to mess them up. Wyatt would be my pick to win it if he can somehow get into the match, bring back the Wyatt Family and it keeps him ticking along until they are ready to pull the trigger.

  10. I went again to see Mad Max the following night (went the first time with my mates and had to drag the misses along this time) and enjoyed the film much more on its second viewing and understood it a little bit more than the first.

I'm sure I have read they are thinking of two more films or have enough material for two more. But by far the best film I have seen at the big screen in a very long time. Mind blowing in that it has just about everything in it. Still feeling amazed by it a week later and after two viewings.

  11. Loving Rusev also.

Loving the tag division and am excited for the match on Sunday.

I am even enjoying the Cena open challenges even if we know he's winning pretty much every week (although heres hoping a star can be made with a shock win at some point.

Just not liking Lana with Ziggler. This can only work if either he turns heel (with Rusev turning face) or if its a big swerve but even then I don't see how that does anything other than make Ziggler weak.  Maybe Lana will double swerve both Rusev & Ziggler and cop off with someone else at the Chamber, Barrett or Sheamous anyone?

  12. First time I have came into this thread to post as I saw Fury road tonight, I had no idea what even most of the film was about but it was fun, action packed & just a brilliant watch. Such a random film with all kinds of wacky in it but some of the stunts were stunning and it felt like something totally different to your average film which makes this unique (reminds me of Sin City in that regard).

  13. I swear the WWE writers are trolling us with Lana/Ziggler. It was so cringeworthy and the best we can hope for is either a swerve at the chamber (which doesn't make sense given there's other participants) or a Ziggler heel turn.

Speaking of the IC title, again throwing everyone into the match made no sense, how does R Truth get in there? Pretty much loses every week and is a contender for the IC title? Would have preferred Harper/Rowan but maybe they could end up taking out one of the tag teams prior to the show and end up replacing them?

Speaking of them two I wouldn't mind a Wyatt family return, all three look a little bit lost and maybe putting them back together for the summer will refreshen things up and give them things to go with, would be brilliant if at MITB Wyatt was to win it with interference from the Wyatt Family and them all getting back together again.

  14. I suppose this question is better here than anywhere else but what do WWE wrestlers eat and drink food wise? For example if they were at the 02 would the wrestlers eat food within the venue or after the show at the hotel?

Wasn't sure how strict a diet these guys are on? I know they do gym work pretty much every day and so on. Likewise how are matches planned?

And before anyone says anything, I have no interest at all at becoming a wrestler just always wondered about that side of the business as these guys travel around a lot, are obviously in good shape and on the most part on the big side.

  15. Mine has a habit of freezing but usually just go back to the main menu and back into continue watching and it seems to be okay (may freeze once or twice more during a show). Not sure if its a streaming/buffering kind of issue but seems to do the trick.
