The company that used to be CV still does TNA, with 3 upcoming releases announced this week and more coming soon.

 

So when I started with SV I was asked to provide some basic information on the wrestlers - catchphrases and finishing moves. This came from some of the non wrestling fans, hoping to get a bit of info so they could sound more knowledgable dealing with customers and the business that brought in the majority of the revenue at the time. This is what I came up with - riddled with mistakes I'm sure!

 

 

My memory may be a little sketchy but I'm sure I remember seeing pretty much the exact same thing either in a WWE video game (Smackdown on PS2?) either in the manual that came with the game or in the official game book which gave you tips on how to play the game and the characters etc. 

Someone on here may remember but it looks exactly the same layout unless you copied it yourself? 

Triple H/Sting seems to be going in the right direction. 

I have a horrible feeling we are going to have Rollins, Show & Kane vs. Ryback, Ziggler & Rowan at mania in some awful rematch we have seen a hundred times before on raw, probably with Show turning face and actually helping out this time. Yawn. 

Speaking of Ziggler he was terrible speaking, especially the part when he said "I'm the best, I raise the bar and I am the show off" or something to that effect, it came across lame and something a 10 year old would say. Just awful. 

Bryan/Reigns was probably the best it was going to be and better than I thought throughout the show but can't help but feel that you watch Kane/Show every single week take on Bryan/Reigns and all of a sudden it gets 'forgotten' some two weeks later when Show is in the ring and Reigns is just sitting there not doing anything, I know he wants to see Bryan get beat up and feuds move on but it was only two weeks ago they were beating each other up at every opportunity and now they just coincide like there has been no recent history. You couldn't imagine someone like an Austin doing that in the past. 

Got round to watching the Paul Heyman documentary. Brilliant on every level. Well worth the subscription just for this alone. Just an amazing documentary about one of the best this business will ever see. 

Where would be a good place to start watching some WCW? I know it had its highs and lows but any recommendations? 

I love Rusev (and Lana) but do we think WWE will keep on the ball with them or will Rusev slip down the card after his first loss and be just another upper-mid carder?

After watching Raw it just seems like one big mess with the whole main event at Mania. I'm not convinced WWE had this planned at all and just feels like they are trying to re-write and try keep everyone on side and to be honest if Daniel Bryan ends up in the main event then it will probably be shit and feel more forced than Reigns. 

Also why didn't Rusev come out at the start and get involved when you could argue he would have won the rumble had The Rock not interfered. Made no sense at all, even if they did something like Rollins vs Bryan and Reigns vs Rusev with the winners facing off then it may have made sense, infact they could have had it play out on the Fast Lane PPV with all matches taking place to fill up what will be a filler show anyway.

And is Jerry Lawler not on raw anymore? Thought I saw him at the rumble?

Triple H will probably say something along the lines that Roman Reigns needed help to win the Rumble and therefore for the main event at Wrestlemania in the interest of fairness there is going to be a special guest referee.....Seth Rollins. Then you have the whole Lesnar/Reigns/Rollins (cash in) build.

But before then of course you will have to stomach Reigns vs Big Show/Kane at fast lane.
