can anyone recommend me a good podcast to listen to on spotify? i've pretty much gone through all the uploaded Talk Is Jericho, Something To Wrestle With, New Day Podcast, Grilling JR and the decent Lilian Garcia ones, but need something else decent if there is any?

The Lapsed Fan, and the new AEW podcast are both on there

I can’t stand Justin Roberts. He was absolute shite in WWE and he’s just as bad now. He doesn’t have a good announcing, he just over emphasises certain words to make them sound important, but it doesn’t work.

    John isn’t pronounced “Jee-ahn”.

Agree with this, his book made him come across as very unlikeable as well.

  3. Can we appreciate how badass Moxley looked coming into the arena from the cold with the camera following him to the ring? Compare and contrast with Cody's entrance - which saw them do the same camera thing too for a bit - where him and his crew displayed about 1/100th of the presence and coolness as Moxley did. No weird neck tattoo that definitely wasn't positioned right for Mox either.

    Bryce Remsburg.

Ever since O'Rourke brought it up on his podcast I can't take my eyes off him during matches - specifically when he puts his hands on his head after a big move or when he jumps in to make a count.

Don't know if it was just me but I swear you see him doing a furious windmill with his right arm when signalling for the bell at the end of the Orange Cassidy match

  5. 9/10 show, absolutely bloody brilliant - loved the entrances and the action, with only the women's match being a bit of a plod. Thought those lit up wrist bands for the crowd were a very cool idea too!

Has no one mentioned Jake Hager's music yet? Absolute "fire" as the kids say.

  6. The more and more I think about it, the best thing to come out of ECW for me were the photos. Especially in the 1995-1997 period. Someone on here posted an album by George Tahinos (of PowerSlam note) in which there were hundreds of old school ECW pictures, all of them are really evocative and look just as magic on a screen as they did in the pages of the magazine.

  7. I'm in Hamburg for a weekend away with the lads, and the video @PowerButchi posted about a 1994 rugby league game with hilarious commentary ("I CANT SPAKE, MAGNIFICENT MOVE FROM CASS, THATS JUST TYPICAL WARRIORES, YOU BOTTLELESS GET CAMPBELL!) has been quoted amongst us about 1000 times, so thank you for providing mich hilarity haha

Do Test and Albert count for this? Neither were spectacular in the ring but they were a great big man tag team and had Trish to add to appeal.

They never won the belts but were very much part of that E&C, Hardy, Dudley, APA, Too Cool group who kept the match ups varied. Granted Hardy's, E&C and Dudleys were the stars of the division.

The mixed tag match they're in against the Hardy Boyz and Lita from Fully Loaded 2000 is one of the hottest opening matches ever, so they've got that going for them too.
