It might not have been like that in your section, but it was pretty much like that in mine. People were going nuts for him to win that match, albeit everyone was almost as knackered as he was, and then doing the big “thank you” chants after. When he left his costume in the ring, there were definitely folks crying - that must have been the case where you were sitting as well, surely?

Loads of people left before the end of the match in my section, didn't see anyone cry either that I remember, although I was giving it the 'thank you Taker' chants and was expecting that was the last time we'd ever see him.

I don't want to discuss his awful take, I just wanted to know if it was the same dude, that's all.

Whilst it's funny to laugh at Everton it's not exactly shit hot wage to turnover chat I'm into either.

Yeah I presume its him from Power Slam - when did he last post here?

  3. The one small upside to not being able to work at the moment is I have the time to do some kind of fry up every day. I usually have it around lunchtime and so only need to eat one more meal in the evening, meaning I'm actually losing body fat by eating fry ups. Reminds me of the person on here who was prescribed doner kebab meat by the doctor after having food poisoning :D

Think you've listened to the wrong episode. The latest one with Khan was recorded a week or so ago when they were preparing for the live return.

Well blow bubbles up my bollocks and call me Shirley, this is exactly what I've done. Thanks for that, and I may yet be wrong about Aubz @Egg Shen so I'll pay close attention to how she comes across on this.

just listened to the 2nd appearence of Tony Khan on AEW Unrestricted. I find Khan a fairly engaging guy to listen too but in a 'lets pat each other on the back and tell each other how great we are' way, this was pretty sickening. Aubrey Edwards especially is an upper level brown noser. They should just leave Schiavone do the interviews.

She's hardly going to publicly insult or challenge him in that forum is she! Believe she mentioned how well paid she was at AEW and makes more from wrestling than software (!), so you can surely understand her being nice to him.

Thought it was a good podcast but was a bit annoying how long ago it was recorded, they hadn't even crowned tag champs by then and pre Corona I imagine a lot of stuff is out of date.

Even though they're exactly the same thing French toast sounds so much better than eggy bread.

Really could not disagree any more with what you've just said here, I think the complete and total opposite thing to your expressed opinion in this post. Eggy bread sounds massively better than the Americanised "French Toast" which sounds straight off an episode of Friends or Gilmore Girls.

I liked much of the production of the Kross/Scarlett entrance, particularly the B&W to colour bit, but if she has to lip sync I'd make the following tweaks:

    1) give her a head mic & pretend she's actually singing it, which would be infinitely cooler than having her pretending to sing it

    2) get someone to teach her to lip sync it well, rather than poorly mouth it. Might need an in-ear monitor to get it right, particularly when crowd noise becomes a factor.

Or she could just not lip sync..

Hopefully the Owen episode has the story from the local press in the UK when his wife was living here and his daughter cut her foot in a swimming pool and they had compo faces.

Do5nt ever say something like that without posting link

  9. Null and void is the only way, Covid 19 respects the football calendar and won't be a problem in August.

They don't seem to have grasped the concept that 'next season' is going to be an utter shitshow as well. Until you can get fans in stadiums (good luck with that), whether it be 4,000 at Gillingham or 50,000 at Newcastle, the national obsession (or so they would like to have you think) is all but fucking redundant. See how well the 'franchises' & mega TV deals work, without the people that built and supported those clubs over the decades, through thick and thin....the people they largely forget...and trust me, I am well placed to talk about that. I'm not suggesting Covid is a positive, it's a fucking menace, but if it puts even a temporary stop to obscene wages and the general whoring, football merry-go-round, from agents to betting companies to UEFA & FIFA officials, I've no problem at all with that. VAR already ruined the season at the top level, Covid destroyed it. I hope all the clubs survive, but they won't. If it means more F.C United's & Salfords have to start-up from ground-level, so be it. It's kinda been coming.

And the lower league players paid on a week to week basis? I cant see any good outcomes from them having to get a job in a slaughterhouse or something.
