Bad news everybody...http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...ie-is-dead.html
Television psychic Derek Acorah has claimed Madeleine McCann is dead, after a messenger from the spirit world told him:

I was going to ask "how are they spraying vinegar 30,000 feet into the air"....
...I should have known the answer was "they're not, they're just spraying it front of them and claiming it works"

They had one on the Cruel Intentions soundtrack that I loved (brilliant soundtrack all round that one)Edit - Spotify tells me it was called "Comin' Up From Behind'

In an act of total, total scummery, appears on Twitter that someone broke into Adam and Ben Hollioake's parents house last night and stole a load of Ben's old gear.

Love you, Surf.

Abdullah the Baker would be an awesome gimmick though.
-
As a stable that'd work fine. But when the butcher and baker left the poor guy would be left with about the worst gimmick you could possibly have. He makes candlesticks. Besides hitting people with candlesticks what could you really do with that?

Fuck a live studio audience. Who needs 'em?
Red Dwarf does.

Chest's right, for every turdlike Two and a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory there's a 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation and Community. And let's not forget we get new Arrested Development next year.
-
Game of Thrones renewed for the third season, 10 episodes which will cover the first half of A Storm of Swords. Well pleased about this, I had really hoped they would split it over two seasons as there's just too much in that book to fit into 10 hours. Seasons 3 and 4 are going to be fucking amazing.

It's like nothing you just said there ever existed Woy Straight onto something new.

The best thing about those crap videos that Duane posted is all the people on the comments claiming that YouTube is hiding the real amount of views the videos are getting because every time they refresh the video, the number stays the same. doesn't cover it, really.
Yeah. YouTube should take the UKFF mod approach to video views, anyone who posts a video and thereafter mentions the amount of views it's had should have the count reset to 0. It'd be double the fun doing it to those guys too, being 'the man' and messing with their heads.

Community is next on my comedy list I think. I've asked a few people to recommend me something in the same mould as 30 Rock, Arrested Development and Parks and Recreation and that seems to be the one most commonly coming up. Glad there's a few fans on here too.

Yeah, I love Stevie and everything.... but you'd think he'd just solemnly announce it rather than working the crowd like that.

If current criteria is awesome British synth pop. Then have yourself some Sharpe and Numan - 'Change Your Mind' too.

It's the pot-kettle-blackiness of it being Brookstein that makes it even funnier though.

I've never heard of Chemtrails. Care to enlighten me?
Basically the idea that condensation trails left by planes are in fact the government either controlling the weather, or testing biological or chemical warfare.

I will give the crazy homophobe props for this lovely little Back to the Future related dig at a fellow X-Factor winner though
steve brookstein @stevebrookstein"Hey Alexandra, it's your cousin Marvin....Marvin Burke. You know that mediocre generic sound you've been looking for, well listen to this!
-
Serious question. Does anyone here believe in chemtrails?
I think we've lost all the crazies from this thread now.
-
It's not. I never said it was.
Well, saying nothing happens, when a lot of stuff happens, makes me think you didn't get it.
No, I get it. It's just not as good as the first one and is too slow at times.
Stick with Clash of Kings (and even more so Storm of Swords). I struggled at the start of it with so many new characters and new places being introduced. It took me quite a while to get into Stannis' storyline but the last third of the book is sensational with a big payoff. The second book of Storm of Swords is my favourite so far, and currently 500 pages into A Feast for Crows, which introduces another 600 odd characters but is still marvelous.

H-Gen gets my vote. Wonderful stuff. Great final though and very closely run.
-
HG's second is my favourite so far. He's up by a whisker for my vote at the moment
-
HG, your references are out of this world.
