Dreadful show. Awful. This company has totally lost the plot.

Off the top of my head on this show were Ascension, Apollo Crews, The Lucha House Party. It's fucking Raw and it feels like Main Event two thirds of the time. Why on earth isn't Seth Rollins storming out at the start of the show and saying "Ambrose, Get ya fucking arse out here NOW" and done some kind of Savage sit down protest, literally interrupt the Raw open, have the commentators setting up the show and in the background Rollins is doing his best Austin impression and with no music marching to the ring for answers. It is absolutely warranted for what Dean did last week, instead we are to believe he waited an hour and a half in the back, being in the same building as Ambrose and just casually strolled down to the ring. Ridiculous bullshit, after last week you hunt that fucker from the minute you step foot in that arena.

Horrendous paint by numbers segment between Braun and Brock that filled me with all the enthusiasm of a colonoscopy. Heyman did his best but the fucking thing is a mess.

None of this is anything new though. WWE lost the plot months if not years ago.

Ascension and Apollo Crews have been on Raw for weeks now and are your standard mid-card talent at the moment. Lucha House Party are just being used to fill up the tag team division and are part of some of the 205 live group being used on Raw, like Drake Maverick and Lio Rush.

On the topic of Rollins, the above it just not how WWE book babyfaces now. In fact, WWE does not seem to know how to book a good babyface anymore. They have a really good chance at a great babyface on Smackdown with Becky Lynch, but because the fans and not WWE(Vince) made her a massive babyface, and she is getting over as one, of course they are trying to push her as a heel (and push Charlotte as a face).

And the Brock stuff is just the usual Brock stuff. They don't know what else to do with him.

I feel for Ronda, their big Raw babyface, who is going to get booed out of the building at Survivor Series against Becky Lynch.

I went down to Orbital Comics yesterday as it was Walking Dead Day, there had blind bag variants of key issues for sale at £3 each, I opened them all up today and I got the one below which has actually been sketched by the artist, I checked around google and have been told it’s extremely rare, went on eBay and it’s currenty going for £300! Mental I only got it for £3

Is there a list of all the variants anywhere?

So that's three of my favourite fighters ever fighting in Bellator the next few months. Cro Cop, Manhoef and Wanderlei Silva.

I have just had a look at the card that Cro Cop is on and they seem to have dragged Bob Sapp back from wherever he was hiding to fight on the card as well. He is fighting former Sumo wrestler Abdelrahman Shalan. Sapp is only on a 14 fight losing streak. 15th time lucky?

I recall the Leslie Garrett Gotcha, where Noel was basically torturing her mentally that there maybe a proper oddball under the lions head (it was Noel, so probably right.) At one he rests his head on her shoulder and starts poking her tit.

There's one point where shoves him away with force, to where old Edmonds has to remove the mask and do his poncy little "it's only me act." If the screen went black and white and it started to rain, this could have been the start of some torture porn film. She looked fucking emotionally drained when it was finished, so fuck knows what they cut from the skit.

Here is the video of the above mentioned Gotcha:

    Murder On The Orient Express

Very stylish and Branagh is a likeable Poirot, but this felt like a bunch of friends in a vanity project.  Cracking cast but the lack of tension made it more like a video Christmas card than a bone fide thriller.

I had mixed feelings about it. It's a perfectly watchable murder mystery, but I just found it really underwhelming, lifeless and flat with underdeveloped characters. The cast is really good, but no-one is really given too much to do or given a chance to impress or shine. It should be much better than it ended up being, and should have had at least some memorable scenes or stand-out performances, but it didn't.

    The Equalizer 2

Pedestrian and by the numbers.  Denzel's solid and the action sequences are decent, but you've probably seen it all 100 times before.

I really enjoyed it and found it to be a solid action movie. Denzel does probably make it better than it would have otherwise been though. Also, much like the first film, it seems to be cut in UK cinemas.

@Keith Houchen Is the new Flatliners shite? I'm on a bit of a supernatural kick at the moment, and we've been watching Stir of Echoes, Fallen, Frequency and the likes, with the old Flatliners lined up for tomorrow night. Was going to give the new one a rally, but seemingly by all accounts, it's a load of gik. My reasoning for still wanting to watch it is that I think Hudson Hawk is an underrated, underappreciated masterpiece.

If you are going to watch the original Flatliners I would not bother watching the remake as well. The original isn't all that good really, so they had a chance to make some improvements and changes and make a good film. Outside of a few minor changes they pretty much made the same film again though. I did not find it to be an awful film or anything, but they really did nothing new or interesting to make it at all worthwhile. Just stick to watching the original.

I liked the Brock segments too, but the things that got was that you had Kurt Angle saying “Brocks the worst universal champion” and “he’s never here to defend it”, then why doesn’t he strip him of the title? He has the authority to do so.

    Minor niggle, but still

Angle does not seem to be allowed to make those kind of big decisions, unless Stephanie has told him he can via Corbin or a mobile phone.

One thing that I would if changed is the ending tho, The crowd as mentioned above were actually on Romans side and he should of run in at the end, the place would of gone nuts for him and shown him as a bit more of a rebel.

I can't Imagine Austin finally being in that same building as someone he has wanted to fight for months being escorted out and that being that.

The Camera should of panned to the security guys who lead Roman away being laid out backstage and for him to appear running through the crowd and chasing Lesnar away.

But Reigns was told by Angle that he would lose his title match at Summerslam if he did not leave the arena. Reigns did what he was told, like he always does.

Why did Strowman not cash in while Lesnar was actually in the building for once this week?

what size console are u after? 1tb, 500 gb etc? i had a quick look and cant find any bundles with vr and a ps4 console in one, of course both can be purchased individually. I will have another look for you later

    Probably looking at 1TB.

  11. I am looking to buy a PS4 and the Playstation VR. Does anyone know of any good deals around at the moment (preferably high street, but online is fine as well)?

Also, is there any major benefit to buying a PS4 Pro over a regular PS4?

I see Bellator have announced a Welterweight tournament, which starts 29/9 to kick off their DAZN deal.

It will feature Yaroslav Amosov, Jon Fitch, Neiman Gracie, Andrey Koreshkov, Lorenz Larkin, Douglas Lima, Rory MacDonald, Michael Page and Ed Ruth.

Coker sure loves a "World Grand Prix", which I'm delighted about.

Apparently Paul Daley is part of it now as well and will possibly fight MVP.

  13. Bellator have named the first few fighters for their upcoming welterweight tournament, including their current WW champion Rory MacDonald, Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov, Michael Page, Neiman Gracie, Ed Ruth, and Yaroslav Amosov, Lorenz Larkin and Jon Fitch.

That will be quite the step-up in competition for MVP if he wants to win the tournament.

  14. I saw a suggestion posted elsewhere, that with Hogan back, Lashley beats Lesnar and Summerslam ends with Hogan celebrating with Lashley, showing that he is definitely not a racist.

I would laugh at this suggestion and find it a really bad idea, but this is WWE/Vince McMahon and they do seem to have no idea what they are doing at the moment.

  15. Finished watching the last episode of Season 2 of GLOW yesterday and really enjoyed it as well. Have they renewed it for a third season?

didn't suffer from Netflix Second Season fatigue (yes Stranger things, I am looking at you, especially that terrible back door pilot episode).

I thought season 2 of Stranger Things was just as great, fun and entertaining as the first season, but each to their own.

It looks like HMV are doing some mock-VHS releases starting next month.

"Each title feature a retro sleeve inspired by their original CIC VHS release. The box is imprinted with a VHS cassette design, but with the height of a DVD to ensure it fits on shelf. Inside are copies of the movie on both Blu-ray, and DVD featuring cassette reel disc art. They also include a fold out replica theatrical poster, bubblegum card and sticker."

  17. That is true about the Rousey/Nia feud, but WWE on the whole has that feeling a lot of the time:

WWE is unbelievable. It's the most disjointed mess I've ever seen. Every week it's like they bring in a new (shit) writer, who's not allowed any knowledge of what's happened in the weeks prior.
