  1. Not sure where to post this, but seeing as it is figure related I think that here is as good a place as any.

I managed to find and buy the below New Day Loot Crate Figure set from Poundland last week.

After the looks the cashiers gave me I think I might be banned from shopping in that Poundland again.

No Booker T  :(  Get him on Smackdown, he and Graves have brilliant chemistry.

Booker T will be presenting WWE Backstage alongside Renee Young on Fox Sports 1 starting in November.

SmackDown moves from Tuesdays to Fridays beginning Friday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on FOX, but WWE fans can still get their Tuesday night fix with FS1’s WWE Backstage, television’s only studio show devoted to all things WWE.

The hour-long weekly show offers viewers the latest WWE news every Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT, beginning Nov. 5 on FS1.

Longtime WWE broadcaster Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T weigh in on the biggest stories in WWE, and are joined by a rotating cast of guests and personalities, including current and former WWE Superstars.

Ahead of WWE Backstage’s Nov. 5 debut, FOX Sports offers a special preview of the show on Tuesday, Oct. 15, following the conclusion of the ALCS Game 3 on FS1. Young and Booker T are joined by special guests to reveal the WWE Backstage set at the FOX Studios Lot in Los Angeles, and to break in their brand-new ring.

“WWE Backstage is a wrestling show for wrestling fans. From hardcore fans to people new to wrestling, we’ll give them a little bit of everything,” Young said. “It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be loud, we’re going to give them a ton of opinions and I can’t wait to help spread the word about SmackDown coming to FOX.”

Young will be joined by the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T, for analysis.

“It’s awesome being part of the FOX family and part of this movement of Friday Night SmackDown to FOX,” Booker T said. “FOX Sports has always been the one-stop shop for sports and now it’s going to be the one-stop shop for sports and entertainment. I think this is going to be a tag team that’s going to last for a long time, and one that cannot lose. As I always say, now can you dig it, sucka?”

More information on WWE Backstage, including additional on-air personalities and special guests, will be announced at a later date.

  3. Not sure how reliable Pro Wrestling Sheet are, but according to them Heyman was running Raw this week, with no Vince, Dunn or HHH around.

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Paul Heyman ran Raw this week behind the scenes due to Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn and Triple H not being at the show.

Sources tell us Triple H is already in Orlando to prepare for NXT’s premiere on USA, which is why he was not at tonight’s show in Knoxville, Tennessee.

It’s unclear why Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon were not present, but WWE’s head honcho recently said hiring Heyman and Eric Bischoff as Executive Directors would prevent him having to get “in the weeds” as much as he’s done in the past.

We’re told Michael Mansury, who is WWE’s VP of Global Television production, filled in for Dunn.

  4. I would guess that The Fiend interferes in the Rollins/Strowman match so that neither of them have to take a loss.

Most of the matches on the show will probably be good, but like most of WWE at the moment, there just doesn't seem to be much that is must see.

On both nights of the draft, Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will appear along with personalities from FOX and NBCUniversal programming who will announce select picks from each brand.

We would probably need to know more, but the highlighted part above could be interesting.

Go out of your way to watch the Network special, "Prime Target: NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff." Without a doubt, it's the best thing this company has produced all year.

It is up on WWE's youtube page now for anyone who wants to watch it:

A really good 20-minute promo video for the Walter/Bate match.

There’s a 10 man battle royal tonight to determine Brock’s ss challenger.

looks totally bland (and I love a battle royal). Except. Big E is in the there...

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Sami Zayn, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Big E.

Also, Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella to see who faces Lynch at Summerslam.

As good as Kofi's reign has been it would be nice to see him feud with a top level guy.

Who are the top level guys on Smackdown (or in WWE) at the moment that Kofi should be feuding with?

Lot of the big stars missing this week. Still no signs of Balor, Buddy, Ali, motherfucking ASUKA. . .etc. Wasn't too long ago that Rusev and Nakumara were the most over acts in wrestling, now where the fuck my boys at?

I'm pretty sure Balor vs. Nakamura was hinted at last week in a backstage promo (possibly for Extreme Rules).

Think of all the wrestlers delivering promos facing no actual humans.

Apparently (from Wrestling Observer Radio) the attendance was 6,000, but closer to 4,000-4,500 that actually paid.

Completely agree, does my head in. You can understand it against Lesnar or Zeus, but why the fuck is “the big dog” wrestling as an underdog against equal or lesser opponents? He’s being booked as Mikey Whipwreck.

The problem is, other than Lesnar there is no one on a level above Reigns. Everyone else on the roster is currently his equal or a little below/a lesser opponent. There is no "main event" level talent for him to be having competitive matches with, so he is forced to have competitive matches with Drew and Shane. If he squashed Drew and Shane (as he should), who is on the next level for him to fight?

The mask that Bray had on in the Funhouse segment was created by none other than horror legend Tom Savini which was a nice touch

I believe he was creating the masks that Rowan wore before he joined Bryan as well.

For anyone that still hasn’t got Red Dead Redemption 2, the standard edition is available new in CEX for £25 on both XboxOne & PS4

Is there anything major I would be missing if I got a 2nd hand standard copy of RDR2?

Also, anyone know where the cheapest place is to get a (official) PS4 controller? They seem to be £50 new most places and even 2nd hand only seem to drop to around £45.

  13. Even though wins and loses mean nothing, and it will probably lead to Drew being the first feud for Seth if he beats Brock at Mania, am I the only one who really did not like them having Seth lose a few weeks from Mania? Just have Brock attack Seth at the end, causing a DQ.

Is it still correct that only Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have pinned Strowman in singles matches since he got his "megapush" ?

Corbin pinned him at Elimination Chamber (but in a no DQ match after a 3-on-1 beatdown).

  15. Just got back from Captain Marvel and I really enjoyed it. It does a good job of introducing Captain Marvel to the MCU and has both good action and a good story. Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson both put in strong performances, and the supporting cast are good as well. While not without its flaws, it never felt too long and is well worth watching.

  16. Just watched the 2nd episode and thought it was great again this week, with parts of it just brilliant to watch. I don't want to say too much about it and spoil it, but the sequence when Partridge takes a seat at the back of the audience made me laugh more than I have laughed in a while, as did the anagram.

Was it even a botch? It looked like that spiked huracanrana that Kalisto uses.

That looks like what they were trying for, but neither of them seemed to know how to actually pull the move off.

I thought the Rousey/Bliss/Jax/Banks segment was really poor. Rousey was trying (really badly) to make Banks seem more important and more of a threat than what she has been treated recently, and the crowd did not seem to be anywhere near as behind Banks as it seems WWE wanted them to be.

The Lesnar/Strowman stuff was awful as well. Strowman has apparently not been cleared for any physical action, but that does not forgive the terrible promo work from him and the poor writing for him.
