Ditto. DC is my favourite fighter of all time. I will be very happy if he goes out on top.
You just know that if DC wins that Jon Jones will try to talk him into having one more fight with him (at heavyweight)Â before DC retires.

Ong Bak (nefarious means)
I haven't seen enough Tony Jaa films but there's no way any of his others are going to match this. Just a madhouse of brilliant fight scenes, a superb market district foot chase, and even a Tuk Tuk chase. Fucking magnificent.
Warrior King (also called The Protector) is really worth watching as well if you liked Ong Bak. They are Tony Jaa's two best films.

Watched Vivarium over the weekend, which I thought was a pretty good sci-fi film, even if it does feel like an extended episode of something like The Twilight Zone or Black Mirror, with a premise that has been done before (a couple trapped in a labyrinth of identical houses with each escape attempt returning them "home", but this time slightly tweaked with the addition of a strange child that the couple are given to raise to allow their release, but that they don't want and cannot seem to relate to). I liked it more than the directors previous film Without Name
(the story of a land surveyor who goes mad in a mysterious forest), which while it had some nice visuals was a really slow, subtle Irish-horror film that never really seemed to get going and had little pay-off in the end. Also watched The Hunt, which is a perfectly watchable if very average horror-thriller-comedy-satire. It has some good violence and action, but is pretty underwhelming, tonally all over the place and is heavy handed with its politics and some of the dialogue. Again I preferred it to the directors previous film though (Z for Zachariah), which while a fine apocalypse-drama that is well acted by its small recognisable cast (Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Chris Pine), is really slow-paced with a poor, flat conclusion.

Looks like they are going to be moving Smackdown this week to the WWE Performance Centre, with no crowd (only WWE personnel).

I wonder if they’re going to try and have the Ciampa/Gargano/Cole Triple Threat that they booked last year before Ciampa had the surgery. But then where does that leave Velveteen Dream?
Where does that leave Balor as well? Feuding with Lee? Or do they do Balor/Dream?

I watched Good Omens over the weekend, and while it was an ok 6-episodes/6-hours I thought it was also underwhelming and quite disappointing. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are pretty good in the lead roles of the demon and angel, and there are a lot of recognisable faces and voices in the others roles (given varying amounts of screen time), but I just did not find that either the characters or the story were interesting enough.

Was there any hints on the show about any Raw matches on the ppv other than the obvious route of Owens vs Rollins?
I get the feeling they are building towards a ladder match for the us title. Also looks like rusev/lashley, black/murphy, charlotte/asuka (or a tag match with Lynch).

The word making the rounds among talents still in Saudi Arabia is that a new flight has been arranged to take them from Riyadh to the United States around 3 AM local time tonight.
That would be a full 24 hours after they were slated to leave following Crown Jewel.www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=130951

On the subject of ratings (taken from wrestlingobserver), last weeks Raw only had 3,000 viewers in the UK (down from 38,000 the week before and 48,000 the week before that).

More draft picks were announced on WWE’s website
Raw: EC3, Eric Young and Sin Cara
Smackdown: Apollo Crews, Drew Gulak, Heath Slater, Tamina, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
Aren't Raw meant to get twice the amount of picks as Smackdown, or was that just for the televised Draft?

It'll be interesting to see how they introduce the women's division as this show felt very "testosterone" driven and there was a promo listing their champions that missed that particular title.Â
I'm sure the promo by Aldis at the beginning listing their champions, included the Women's champion.

The Fury/Brawn pull apart has been shown on Sky Sports News as the last story of the hour today. Some publicity for WWE.

Well The Day Shall Come was not worth the 9 year wait for Chris Morris to make something new after (the far superior) Four Lions. It is not a bad film as such and Marchánt Davis has a stand-out performance in the lead role, but it is disappointing. You can see the satirical comedy Morris was trying to make about FBI sting operations, but he was unable to take that subject and make a particularly good or interesting (or funny) film out of it. It's good to see Chris Morris back making films though and hopefully we will not have to wait another 9 years for him to make something else (be it another film or TV series).

I know it has been a busy week for WWE, but how have they still only got 4 matches booked for Hell in a Cell tomorrow night? Hopefully they will go with a nice short PPV and not have a bunch of thrown-together matches announced tomorrow.

Meant to add - Found it interesting that Mauro kept saying they were limiting the commercial breaks. Given the rating wasn't great in key demos, that's not good news for USA if they're also working with limited commercials.
I'm probably wrong, but it felt like there were more commercial breaks then ever when I was watching it.

Watched Parasite, the latest from Bong Joon-ho (Memories of Murder, Host, Snowpiercer, etc), which is a very good film that mixes a few different genres (to say too much more would probably spoil the film) and is well made and well acted (as is always the case with Bong Joon-ho's films). I didn't find it to be anywhere near as amazing or as impressive as the many 5-star reviews are making it out as being, but it is a good film that is worth watching if you get the chance.
Also watched Overlord which was a good WW2 horror, and The Predator which was an entertaining enough if also pretty disappointing action film.

With Hell in a Cell this Sunday, there only seems to be three matches booked for the show:
Seth Rollins vs. "The Fiend"
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
Bryan and Reigns vs. Rowan and Harper
They are going to need to announce a lot of matches on Smackdown on Friday. I guess that they could throw together Lashley vs. Rusev, another Styles/Alexander match, Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair, Revival vs. New Day again, Nakamaura vs. Ali again, and Gulak vs. Lio Rush.
