  1. way.jpg37 - Jordan WayThe other half of The Lost. This one looks like a slightly more effeminate version of former EntouRAGE member Ollie Burns. Burns, though, was a tremendous young babyface in peril, really knew how to sell and be sympathetic and get crowds behind him. Jordan Way, though, oh my no. Ugly, ugly emos do not a legitimate tag team make. 3CW's Tag Team Titles died when Way and his partner took hold of them and used their antiwrestling abilities on the promotion. Once, The Lost was made up of talent such as Jimmy Jacobs. Now, it includes this shitarse. Epic fail.

RockyDennis.jpgThat was the first thing I thought of when I saw Jordan Way for the first time.
  2. I think you are right about Wade being top class, but he isn't half dull, and the crowd don't really seem to want to like him in anyway. He could just be the darting equivalent of Stephen Hendry.

  3. Van Gerwen v Thornton tonight was a blinder. Some sublime checkouts by both of them particularly Van Gerwen early on. Then it went a bit jethro pub darts when the pressure told, Van Gerwen missing 11 darts at a double in one of the legs that he eventually lost.Priestley is out now as well.

  4. 7.35 at Beverley tonight. Haigh Hall potentially has the class to overcome a bad draw to win that race. Tim Easterby's stable not noted for its first time out winners, but this one won first time up. The write up in the racing post was brilliant and the stable have won this race 4 times in the last 10 years.

  5. What a machine denman was today. Kauto never got near him which was a shame from the actual spectacle of the race point of view, but it showed what a machine denman was. I dont think kauto was at his best today, but even at his best i dont think he would have got his head in front today. What a training feat by nicholls though. 1-2-3 in the gold cup.

  6. My beasts for today. I am not against Kauto Star today, I just think my 2 represent better value.Mares Only HurdleTheatre GirlWhiteoakBallymore PropertiesGroup CaptainVenalmarCoral CupJuniorSong of SongsTriumph HurdleFranchoekBeau MichelAlbert BartlettNenuphar CollongesThe Tother OneGold CupDenmanHalcon GenelardaisChristiesAlert The EarthNatiainGrand AnnualHowle HillEnlightenmentCounty HurdleKings RevengeWingman

  10. I know you have family ties but my guess would be for the Arkle. Glencove Marina won as easy as you like in that race on sunday and considering Perce Rock was supposed to be the good thing you could see from a long way out what was going to win.

  11. Then his 1200 nicker is up in smoke as Almeira won 1-0.

I really fancy Franchoek in the Triumph, I think the horse is made for McCoy.

I don't think McCoy will ride him, as although AP rides most of McManus's horses Robert Thornton is Alan King's stable jockey and it is McManus's first horse with King.
  12. Went to Cheltenham yesterday, what a fantastic way to start the new year. 2 Winners, including my first bet of the year on Oh Crick in the first, so I hope that is a good omen. Good luck to all the UKFF punters for the coming year.

  13. Really looking forward to the boxing. Heart says Hatton, Head says Mayweather. The wallet will have to remain un-opened on this. Far to close to call. I do fancy Voy Pur Ustedes tomorrow in the Tingle Creek. Not great odds but the horse and the stable are in cracking form.

  14. We all like a bet on here and win a few quid and lose a few quid, but imagine paying 16 million dollars for a horse and then have it come third first time out. They should change the name from The Green Monkey to The White Elephant.

  15. I am led to believe by someone that works for the Jockey Club that they don't need to hope for a conviction in the Fallon case, the evidence is pretty conclusive, though he would not go into specifics, he is certainly in a position to have seen the evidence against Fallon. My bugbear with Spencer is that he tries to ride every horse the same way, swooping late from the back. It's fine when it works but when it doesn't you really want to kill him.

  16. I like Winker Watson as well. Very tough little horse, but more workmanlike than either Raven's pass or New Approach. Henrythenavigator is the reason I feel that Fallon should not ride anywhere until his case comes to court. When a 4-5 favourite gets beat in a group race by a 25-1 shot with Fallon on board the jolly you can't help but wonder if Mr Fallon has taken a back hander on it even if it gets beat fair and square. Its bad for racing that they still let him ride.

  17. ~ Tottenham to beat Fulham @ 5/4 - Spurs shakey away from home, but Fulham are a side in severe trouble.~ Reading to beat West Ham @ 11/10 - West Ham are overrated IMO amd I will always look to take them on when playing half decent sides, especially away from home.

Not a good day for you sunshine. :( Look at the way Raven's Pass won today and look at getting on it for the 2000 guineas next year. It was an absoloute machine, barely breaking sweat and winning by 7ish lengths.*EDIT* In a new track record time as well for a 2 year old over that distance*EDIT*
New Approach is utterly frightening. Unless it goes the way of Teofilo I can't see it losing the 2000 Guineas.
New Approach did look very good last week but it beat nothing either. Henrythenavigator clearly does not go on soft and didn't even place in that race. New Approach has run on soft and Raven's Pass has won on firm and good to firm. It may depend on how the ground comes up on the day. I am not saying that neither needs the ground it is just they have run on nothing else.
