  1. I'd like to see Bryan join the Wyatt family as some sort of brain washed shit. It'd make some good backstage skits and that which RAW really lacks. There's not much to comment on RAW it was fairly vanilla throughout. My favourite moment being the few seconds Goldust interacted with the Guest Host. Reminds me of the skits back in 2002 Goldust used to do, which were all incredible.

On another note I've been really impressed with both Reigns and Rollins. I'd LOVE to see a Rollins Vs Mysterio feud resulted in some sort of match at the Rumble or TLC (No stipulation just a good PPV match not some shite thrown away to a dull RAW crowd).

  2. Actually, yes. I enjoy zombies and the creative gore in the show but it's definitely something I only watch when I have 45 minutes to kill. The plotting, characters and dialogue is terrible for the most part. It's a show filled with cool horror movie gore with a vague plot and underwritten characters very loosely based around the gory moments.

Very well put. Couldn't agree more with this.

  3. Just finished the third season of the Walking Dead. I'm mainly watching it because its free on Netflix US and my girlfriend likes it. Anyway I haven't been too impressed by it. Does anybody else find Rick and Carl two of the most unlikable characters they've came across? I've found both bloody awful and generally annoying. I just think the series certainly needed someone better/stronger than the bloke who plays Rick.

  4. He wouldn't be working against shit wrestlers. AJ worked with Noam Dar over here not to long ago. Its not like he's exclusive to TNA. He's worked in Japan, Mexico and UK and US indies loads. Shit wrestlers dont tend to work names.

I hope his psychology has improved since the last time I watched otherwise your point isn't massively valid. I can't stand his work, he looked looked like a twelve year old.

If your on about Noam Dar, I have to agree with you.

  5. Watching Hell In A Cell 2009. I've noticed the crowd chanting 'Cena Sucks' and 'Let's Go Cena'. Now I didn't watch WWE around 2009 and this is the earliest I've seen these chants.

Now my question is, when did the chants first begin? I'm surprised to see they've happened for the past 4 YEARS, at least.

  6. Another good PCW show. I really would have liked to have seen Elgin/Richards Vs Team Single at the Main Event which was the match of the night. No doubt about it and would have ended the show on a high note. What I really loved about it was it came across that both Elgin/Richards were having a fantastic time and you could tell they loved what they do. Also Richards has improved dramatically since the last time I've seen him, his selling, chemistry and just everything. I thought the Pope was great too, really fun match between him and Bubblegum. Dynamite/Richards was an absolute treat to watch.

  7. I'd have preferred to hear Alex Shelley, Low-Ki, Samoa Joe, Daniels, Petey, Eric Young, Doug Williams and then him to mention the likes of Monty Brown, Lance Hoyt, Magnus and other homegrown stars. I assume this may have been problematic to who is actually in the good books with TNA which is no doubt a small amount of ex-wrestlers. Vice versa to.

Why would he have mentioned current TNA stars when the promo was specifically about wrestlers being fired?

I was more or less on about mentioning who've helped TNA and who deserve to be there. After AJ mentioning the ex-wwe guys taking a 2 year vacation when getting signed for TNA.

  8. I didn't mind the ending of Impact. Styles has improved on the stick for sure but Dixie isn't strong enough to pull off an angle like this. I like the idea though. I'd rather them put out Dixie as an authority figure for a while, sack Hogan and free up some cash. I thought the promo mentioned the wrong X-Divison guys, I'd have preferred to hear Alex Shelley, Low-Ki, Samoa Joe, Daniels, Petey, Eric Young, Doug Williams and then him to mention the likes of Monty Brown, Lance Hoyt, Magnus and other homegrown stars. I assume this may have been problematic to who is actually in the good books with TNA which is no doubt a small amount of ex-wrestlers. Vice versa to.

Another problem is the crowd weren't too good for the angle, I could imagine they were worn out from the 4 hour taping and were burnt out from some of the shite they'd have to endure earlier on. Also I'd like to think alot of the fans who pay to see TNA don't really know about the history of TNA and probably don't give a shit.

  9. I do agree it's very hard to dislike Walt because everything he has done can be explained for the greater good. I do hope in the last 2 episodes we get to see Jesse and Walt become friends again. Walt still has revenge in his mind after the bloke with the Nazi tattoos (Can't remember his name) stole all of his money and killed his brother in-law which caused the break up of his family. Walt Jr standing up for his mother has finally been the hit on the head Walt has needed to understand some of the consequences of drastic lifestyle has caused. Although they've teased Walt going off to start a new life with a new identity. I do in fact believe he will get out of the car and go to save Jesse.

  10. Pre-ordered my copy the other day and I've been promised by the local gameshop to receive it the afternoon before the release. So so excited.

If anyone wants to add me on xbox live my gamertag is DodgyDoug

  11. It really makes sense why they gave Stasiak that gimmick where he kept running into walls and shit towards the end of 2001. How long did they keep up that gimmick? I remember him doing something daft on Rebellion that year.

  12. That's the same for me Pitcos. I thought he was average with his team with Regal and his WCW run wasn't particularly memorable but him being a Brit interested me with this shoot. He's somebody you can relate to, understand the humour and you can compare to someone you've come into contact with before. Overall a great guy. I'd love to see him do one of these One Night Comedy Gigs seen as they're popular lately.

Regading Bill Demott he mentions that he was told they were gonna do the tag match at Mania. Demott was excited for his 'WrestleMania Moment' but Stasiak participated in an internet radio show leaking who was jumping ship once WCW folded to the WWF. They were all punished, Vince wanted rid of them all and there 'WrestleMania Moment' ended up as a few mid carders in a Skybox in the Houston Astrodome. This was to become the beginning of a slow painful death for the WCW guys.

  13. I'm sure it was something to do about Developmental when they wanted him to relocate. Taylor couldn't be arsed relocating and told them where to go.

It was amusing hearing him mention how him and Regal got together. As he mentioned to Vince that him and Regal could do better job as a tag team, then Vince put them together and told them to. Its a shame the tag team of Taylor and Burchill weren't given any focus for the last part of his WWE run.

It was also fascinating hearing how he got into wrestling as he couldn't be arsed working a 9-5 job and father was a wrestler. He really put over Doug Williams and the British style of wrestling. For an hour interview there really was a lot of knowledge and interesting facts brought out from this one. I wouldn't mind for more shoot interviews to be around this length.

  14. I recently watched the Highspots Dave Taylor shoot which I've been meaning to watch for a while and thought it was great. Sadly the bloke is only doing the shoot for around an hour but its really interesting and entertaining throughout. Taylor came across as an honest bloke and his humour is one that was misunderstood by the shite interviewer (forgot his name). My favourite moment is when he's asked about Mexico, and Taylor responds with “I got off the plane, and thought what a right shithole“. Which is also the same opinion he had for India. The dvd comes with an IWA classic of Dave Taylor Vs Claudio Castagnoli which I'd recommend to YouTube.

I also watched the Bill Demott Shoot from Highspots which is one of my favourite shoot interviews I've watched. His take on the Invasion is rather funny and I was unaware of all the shennanigans Stasiak was playing at when he went to the WWF. You can see why they give him that idiotic gimmick. I found it difficult to believe Demott when he says there was gonna be a WWF Vs WCW tag match at Mania 17 but Stasiak fucked it up. Demott outlines how the WCW blokes were treating and his take on the developmental system is very interesting.

  15. I thought Cesaro Vs Sammi was a right good old match. Cesaro is the money and that has to be one of his best performances of his career so far. I love how NXT allows competitors to throw out of moves you'd usually only seen on the Indy scene. I wonder if this would change for those who eventually get called up to the main roster?

Overall a good show and I will try and watch NXT on a regular basis. I would have thought Ascension would have been called up by now with the recent emphasis on tag teams.
