  1. I've been going through RAW 2002 and really enjoying it. So much shit there throwing up the wall and the transition into the Ruthless Agression Era. Mad seeing how bad the nWo was (was there ever a nWo Vs Lesnar feud planned?) and how the Hardcore title was just plain shit. However the shows have been great including the building of Lesnar and some really great stuff with Taker (Jeff/RVD/Hogan Vs Taker). Deadman Inc is my favourite.

Just seen the segment with Vince talking about Stone Cold leaving in the ring. Mad to see how Vince dealt with this. Hats off to Vince.

  2. It may have been because I haven't watched RAW for a few weeks but I enjoyed this episode. Even the ending segment wasn't bad. I liked seeing Kane come from under the ring and added to the segment. My main moans are Ziggler is dull as fuck. Stowman and Rowan can fuck off. Put Harper and Wyatt in a decent tag team let them win the belts and have a lengthy reign. Don't want to see Wyatt even in the same ring as Lesnar at Mania.

Still mad seeing AJ Styles in the WWE. I'm calling him Vs Owens at Mania.

I'd like to see Lesnar Vs Triple H at Mania.. Despite there last few matches being shit. Ambrose Vs Triple H would be another cracker. Then Reigns Vs Lesnar II would be cool. Then the main event being Taker Vs Cena.

Curious to the Cutting Edge Promo at Fast Lane with New Day. Are the Hardyz still with TNA?

  3. Just want to say thanks to everyone who gave me some advice just after Christmas for the situation I was going through. I wasn't expecting a miracle or anything.. Possibly just a way to vent out some frustrations and feelings. Instead the advice really helped me and I am great full. It made me understand the situation more. I was expecting to be fully over it and the truth is you'll always look back at the time as a shitty time you've gone through. I just needed to stop beating myself up over it. Cheers guys!

I've got the most clear head I've had for a long time. I've quit smoking, spoke to the ex in person to be civil, saw her new boyfriend out on a night on the ale - not letting it bother me and have began seeing someone again. So it's all going very well.

  4. Thanks for your words and sharing your experience. Sounds like you had a rough time too.

I've just found the whole thing one of the most difficult things I've gone through. One day I think I'm fine and then the next day I feel like utter shit. It's annoying to not know what your actually thinking or feeling. I think added to it a difficult break up is the uncertainty of what is next.. I pictured my future with her and that all went to shit! Still living with parents and working day to day for the odd night on the piss.

In 2011 I finished her for a few months to get with another girl after we'd had a bad year when I was in Uni and her Dad got ill. I felt guilty and got back with her and also made me realise How much I cared about her. I look back and resent myself for doing this and feel that this is what lead to what happened this year. She'd take the opportunity to mention it every other week and it did drive me round the twist but it was one of the biggest mistakes I've made. But she might have felt like the trust wasn't there anymore as you said before.

Very interesting hearing you say people not getting over this shit. What I struggle with is somebody I spent over 25% of my life with would fuck me off royally like she did.

  5. I'm not one to post about my personal life much just wanted some opinions or some advice from anybody who has been in my boat before..

I split up with my ex girlfriend in May. She told me she had started cheating on me 9 months ago with another lad. It sucked massively we had been together for 6 and a half years..

For about 4 weeks I was in denial (thought we'd sort things out and booking shit) and then started seeing someone quickly after. About 6 weeks in she meets me to tell me how much she loves me and how important I am to her after I go to see Bad Religion on my own pissed in August. I feel weird for a few days and call it off with the girl I'm seeing. I was certain at the time it wasn't a rebound then I realised it really was.

Then suddenly around mid August it hits me like a ton of bricks and I feel like shit for the next few months. I have had the odd one night stand and they make me feel worse.. Joined POF and Tinder but I really can't be bothered with women full stop. In about October she added me back on Facebook but then deleted me within the hour.

Meanwhile in this time from August - December I've gone through a really odd stage where I'm making an utter cock of myself when out pissed, got my 8 tattoos within 11 weeks and I just can't think straight. I thought I was over it the other week and then Christmas came and I once again realised I'm not.

When we broke up she moved away.. I live in North Wales and she moved to Liverpool. When breaking up she mentioned the distance wouldn't work but she's with the lad who she cheated on me with who lives in Manchester.. So that was a lie. I've been worried about her coming back to North Wales for Christmas and knew I'd end up bumping into her. Then in Tesco this afternoon I bumped into her and decided to call her over. I've got loads of things I'd want to say some nice and some not so nice. Obviously I wasn't going to cause a scene in a supermarket so I decided to be friendly and ask her how she was. We spoke for a few minutes but I found it extremely difficult and I was abit chocked up. And after leaving I felt abit upset. Now I'm wondering what is she thinking and hoping she some how contacts me, is that bad?!

Anyway I know it depends from every person but how long does it take to get over this shit?

  6. While She Sleeps supported Bullet in Stoke in October and they were good. Bassist and lead singer have so much energy on stage. Vocalist ended up crowd surfing whilst dropping the lyrics in a few songs. Good live band. Glad they're getting bigger

  7.

Booked myself a ticket to see Bring Me The Horizon.. On my own! Booked a Premier Inn and train from North Wales and it's only cost me £80. Very pleased with that. I used to hate BMTH but they've really come along away but just worried it's going to be full of 17 year old kids. Neck Deep are supporting too which is an added bonus.

Yeah, it will be a young crowd, but me and my wife are going to see BMTH on Sunday and going to that too, and we're 30 and 28, so no worries. Neck Deep are great live.

Nice one that makes me feel better! I'm 24 but know full well it's gonna bring a young crowd. New album comes out this week too which I'm looking forward to.

  8. Booked myself a ticket to see Bring Me The Horizon.. On my own! Booked a Premier Inn and train from North Wales and it's only cost me £80. Very pleased with that. 9. They were spot on I thought and the setlist was perfect. It's very rare that I see a gig and I'm happy with the songs played and the positioning. I'd go see them again easily. I started watching Menzingers who sounded great but ended up at the bar instead.

  10. Spent the weekend enjoying the events ICW filmed in Nottingham and Liverpool via the ICW On Demand (Incredible value for money). Rather gutted I couldn't attend last Sunday but hopefully they bring another show to the North West. Otherwise I will go to Glasgow again to see ICW.

However the 2 ICW shows they put on last week were very enjoyable but where was Damo? Everyone seems to slot well and has a purpose on the card. The shows are strong from the first match right up till the end. There has been some good main events recently but due to the undercard being so strong I sometimes forget there is the main event is to come. Really enjoyed both main events Galloway Vs Grado was lots of fun as was Grado / Galloway Vs Jester / Sabu. New Age Kliq are kicking arse still especially BT Gunn. Hope we get to see NAK Vs The '55 towards the end of the year.

Looking forward to seeing the Birmingham and London show when they're posted on Demand. Especially the London show. The card is stacked

  11. Download Line up for Sunday is looking top notch. I've had an early look on Clashfinder and there is already a fair few clashing which I want to see. As long as I get to see Kiss, Motley Crüe, L7 and We Are Harlot I will be a happy man.

Been listening to a band lower on the bill called Code Orange, can't work out whether I like them or not

  12. anyone heard We Are Harlot? It's the band featuring Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria. Being from one of the most polarising bands in rock music i guess the band splits opinion before anyone ever even hears a note...and whilst i don't even think i've heard an Asking Alexandria song, i've always followed them through music press and what-not and have always had them down as a bunch of pretenders who seemed desperate to portray themselves as some kind of 80's rock hellraisers.

Having said that, i'm a fairly open minded kind of guy so I had a listen to the 3 track sampler they stuck on spotify for the upcoming album and it's really fucking good. Worsnop may come off as a bit of a knob but he clearly has a great voice and a ear for melody. It's very much 'classic rock' inspired but doesn't at sound like a band desperately trying to re-create some kind of sound, it has that modern sheen to it. Colour me impressed.

I've been really impressed with their debut album. I've got Sunday download tickets and there playig then which should be fun. Expecting them to be big next year

  13. I attended ICW Barramania last week and really enjoyed myself. One of my favourite Brit Wrestling shows I've attended.

Walking into the venue set the tone. Arriving in a taxi and seeing the infamous Barrowlands sign lit up on one side of the building. Queing around the block to get in and making our way into the venue. The venue completely reminded me of Rhyl Market the town. The smell, the filth and how run down but great the venue is.

The matches were very good bar the women's match. My personal highlight being Jackie Polo Vs Lionheart. Polo looked looked like a hero and really soaked in the reaction he was getting. Other favourites include the awesome 8 man tag to start the show. Wolfgang going the New Age Kliq. BT Gunn's new look as Corey Taylor. Drew having another successful title defence. DCT and Coach Trip being referred to as the Purple Peados.

From top to bottom the card delivered. I wasn't particularly looking forward to the event but once there the show and atmosphere really was great. If I can work it out I may end up going down to Glasgow again for Fear And Loathing.

Top work Mark and the lads! Really exciting promotion to be following

  14. Really enjoyed the opening Cena/Rusev segment which surprised me. I expect there match at Fast Lane to be good. It'd be good if Rusev wins at Mania too and have a strong heel contender for the World Title.

What the fuck is going on with Bryan and Reigns? It's shocking and doesnt do anything for either bloke. Bryan came across as a cocky heel towards the end of the match with Kane. Deary me! I'm hoping for Reigns to kick the fuck out of Bryan at Fast Lane. I will be bitterly disappointed if this doesn't happen.

Ambrose Vs Barrett will be fun.

Bray Wyatt promos aren't doing anything for me. It doesn't seem like he has acoomplished much over the past year and his dire feud with Ambrose is far too fresh in my mind.

Enjoyed the Paige/Nikki part. Nikki is a beauty

  15. Haha that is brilliant

Anyone listened to Papa Roach's new album? Its a lot better then I thought it would be. The only other album ive heard is Infest, should I check out any of their other stuff?

I would recommend seeing them live. The lead singer looks old as fuck these days but gives 110% and they sound good live. I was going to see them at Manchester Academy but I've got a few gigs approaching in the next few months

    - Death From Above 1979

    - Noel Gallagher

    - Steel Panther

    - Funeral For A Friend

    - Slamdunk Festival

    - Death Cab For Cutie

    - Fleetwood Mac

And then looking to get a Sunday Download ticket

  16. They should have had the opening segment. Some filler match involving that shitarse with the hair that looks like noodles, Ziggler. Put some tag match on. Then have Curtis axel to come out but Roman Reigns comes out thows him over the top rope. Trips announces him Vs Big Show, rollins interfere and match ends in DQ. Then the same happens in the main event. Simple shit.

However that spear to Big Show at the end was beautiful. The Spear Big Show delivered to reigns was fucking shocking. I would class it more as a shoulder barge.

  17. Am waiting on Download tickets to go back on sale. Until the confirms all acts days I can only say I'm commuted to the Sunday for KISS, a shame as Judas Priest are on the Friday

I'm planning on doing the same. Any idea when tickets go back on sale? Face value is 75 quid for day tickets. Also added to Sunday is Billy Idol, L7 and In Flames which I'm very happy about

  18. Seth Rollins once again steals the show. Seeing him face to face with Lesnar looking like an actual threat was impressive. It'd be cool if somehow Rollins gets the #30 entry into the Rumble and wins it.

Despite seeing it a fair few times I really enjoy Rollins Vs Cena

  19. That last promo by Seth was glorious. Reminded me of a proper movie villain being twisted and dangerous. Also heads up to Cena who also stepped it up in the ending segment. Edge and Christian were also very good throughout the show. Big Show was also on top form and could really pull himself off as a bodyguard for Seth.

Really enjoyed RAW. One of the best in a long time. There was a clear direction throughout, a lot happening, didn't drag and character development. Well done WWE!
