Went to see Hunger Games: Catching Fire last night. First of all, I don't remember the first one being so fecking long! I did enjoy it in the end.

Though, not enough Woody Harrelson. For a film I didn't really want to see (The Hunger Games), catching fire has got me ready and anticipating the third installment.

Why would he feck over his idol though?

I hear Mikey Whiplash has been severely injured at tonight's ICW show. Match has been stopped and Grado used part of his singlet as a bandage. Apparently quite a nasty cut on Whiplash's leg. Hope it's not as bad as reported.

I think I completely missed the point of the trailers I've seen of Gravity. Essentially all I saw was a woman spinning around in Space. I really like Sandra Bullock so I was tempted to go see it, but I don't know if I'd be wasting my time.

alter bridge really do deserve sevenfolds posistion at download. I cannot understand how a band that released an album which hasn't been greatly accepted be given this monster push to the moon and Alter Bridge be stuck subbing to Aerosmith when they can do a hour and half set with their eyes shut. And looking at sevenfolds current tour they are playing the same set over and over where at least Alter Bridge are listening to what the fans want and altering the setlist.

 

The only reason to knock Alter Bridge would be that Myles doesn't entertain as a frontman. But i'm sorry with the success of Fortress, it's not a justifiable answer. Hoping Areosmith pull from DL and Alter Bridge get bumped up.

I disagree. I think they're perfect where they are at the moment. Remember, Avenged Sevenfold got to number one with their album.

Give it another album cycle and if AB V is as good as Fortress and AB impress at Donington, then I think maybe they can headline Download.

Reports from the Alter Bridge shows so far are mixed.

Again, heavy Blackbird influence on the set list. Only played 5 Fortress songs so far. Cut it down from 5 to 4 last night. I guess we'll see what tonight brings at Wembley Arena.

A good point though is that Flip seems to be using a click track now and they are playing songs at their normal speed instead of the hyper speed they used to play at live.
