Someone's a bit precious here.
-
I'm gonna need to see this. I adore the "Junky Joe Joyce, Ya junkies bastard ya" video.
-
Â
If WWE is the only thing that you watch on Sky Sports then it's not worth having at all. At the end of the day like SpursRiot mentioned if you're not going to stay up until 4am to watch it live and just Sky + it then you might as well just download it in the morning. Let's be honest all of those adverts put you off watching Raw live anyway.Â
Â
What if you're a kid and you're not interested in how much it costs, it's worth having then.  Surely that's a lot of the viewers.
Â
Â
Pretty sure it would be the parents making the decision in regards to what TV packages are worth subscribing to. I know my parents would never have subscribed to Sky Sports if it was just to feed my wrestling habit. Actually, until early 99, that's exactly what they did. I made do with WCW on TNT.

The usual shuttle bus stop is at Derby train station. Lots of good hotels around the area. Buses normally leave every 15 minutes iirc.
-
Surely after the past 12 months the theme has to be Nine ninety-nine?
-
-
Makes me even more gutted that I am in Ireland for the football.
-
Was hoping Raw being cancelled would mean them pulling the 24 hours special forward.
-
Didn't realise Tough Enough was on there. Gonna have to look that up.
-
Just seen St. Vincent. Enjoyed it quite a lot. First film in which Melissa McCarthy has come out somewhat likeable.
-
That's another part to add to the "Demise of Screech" chapter in Astro's book!
-
Also saw Jingle All The Way with my daughter. I'd never seen it before. She really liked it. I thought it was pretty shite by normal standards but decent by Xmas movie standards. Hard to take Arnie seriously as a "normal" bloke though. Especially with that accent.
Â
Â
Â
How dare you!
-
Any love for the Terminator Genisys trailer then? The plot confuses me but I can't fucking wait. So excited!
-
Right, I've pulled the theory pdfs out of my recycle bin, so fuck knows where I saved them to.
Â
One thing I've never really picked up on before is that these books almost always assume the person reading it is a pianist/keyboard player, and so the diagrams don't really do guitarists a favour.
Â
Notes in the space spell face. Tat-tay tat-tay ta ta and all that.
-
Thanks Chokeout!

Andrew Wasson's YouTube channel (Creative Guitar Studios) is a good one.
Â
I'll have a butchers through my horrendously disorganised filing system, but I think I may have a pdf of Idiots Guide To Music Theory / Music Theory For Dummies.
Â
If there's anything in particular you want to know though, ask here. Me and Call Me Bellend had a cracking conversation a few years back where I taught him scale theory by comparing it to Dean Malenko. True story.
Â
I am not a hundred percent sure where to start. The basics in all honesty. Comparing scale theory to Dean Malenko sounds absurdly fun!
Â
Â
Sorry to bump an old thread. Thought it may be better in a topic like this than the questions thread.
Â
I play guitar, but I know almost nothing about musical theory. It's something I think I'm wanting to learn more of. Can anyone reccommend any self-teaching books or online courses that don't cost a bomb?
Â
Careful now. This type of talk tends to bring out the bellend who ends up posting about theory being tosh and developing your own style.
Â
Â
Can't stand those folk! Having further knowledge in the musical field can only help you develop a unique style, non? Pissants!
Â
Â
Yep, everyone knows that theoretical knowledge and playing with feeling are mutually exclusive.
Â
I was an emotive guitar god, pouring my feelings out through my instrument until I learned what a dom7 was, and now I'm a soulless, pretentious wanker.
Â
That's exactly why I'm wanting to get started learning. That's exactly the vibe I'm wanting to go for, pretentious wanker.

I'm thankful I'm so far behind (season 3) on the walking dead that the spoilers I'm constantly seeing on facebook, I'll probably have forgotten about by the time I get to episode 8 of season 5.
-
Can I get a Christmassy Myles and Mark, please?
Â
I'm gonna have to find my Christmas avatar from a year or two back, much better than Christmassing up my current one.
Â
-
So WWE have started declining payment from me using Paypal. Is that happened to anyone else?
-
Ebb, any chance of a poll for Fury vs Chisora and Saunders vs Eubank?
Â
Hope they've got plenty of security for the weigh ins today. With the characters involved I wouldn't put it past a headbutt or something silly fucking a fight up. Hopefully they're not allowed to get too close today.
Â
Can't wait now.
Â
I've just got this gut feeling Eubank is going to win this fight. I don't think he's going to be some world beater like Eubank Sr is forecasting, but I think he might be the type who rises to the occasion as his opposition gets better. Sr was a like that as well. Looked like he couldn't be arsed at times against lower level opponents, but really stepped up his game against the likes of Benn and Watson. Just got a feeling Saunders might be in for a bit of a shock. And he's talked so much shit for ages now, it's only going to put added pressure on him. Saying 'Euwank' is shit every five minutes, saying he'll retire if he loses and stuff like that. It's silly talk.
Â
He's apparently switched up his camp for this and gone away and trained his arse off, so he knows deep down it's not an easy fight. But I don't know. Eubank is such an unknown right now. This fight is going to hopefully tell us a lot about him.
Â
It's definitely overshadowed the main event.
Â
For all the shit Allegedly Warren gets, and I can't stand him either, BoxNation is great value for what you get. When you think how poor that Cleverly vs Bellew PPV was, a month's worth of BoxNation costs less than that one PPV! This show tomorrow is more PPV worthy than Cleverly vs Bellew 2 ever was, yet it's included in the monthly sub.
Â
On the subject of BoxNation, I re-upped with them this month (mostly for this show and the Pacquiao fight), what the fuck happened to Steve Lillis?
Â
This is how I remembered him;
Â
Â
This is him now;
Â
Â
He lost a shitload of weight, really fast. Is he ill or something?
Â
Speaking of changes, Kellie Maloney's face surgery went badly wrong. I won't post the picture here because it's pretty fucking horrific but here's the link...

Â
Fucking hell. I always thought Maloney was a cunt but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Â
I can't wait for these fights either. I'm not that into boxing to justify the subscription so I'm gonna have to find it on Sunday. Gutted I'm missing it live though. War Of The Worlds will more than make up for it though!
Â
Apart from the bleeding, that doesn't look too bad for your usual facial surgery. My mate got essential facial surgery a year and a bit ago. After his operation he looked like he was wearing a Bo Selecta mask based on himself, the swelling was so bad.
-
Where's best for boxing torrents? I'm gonna miss the BoxNation card on Saturday night and I want to get it watched on Sunday.
-
Cannot stand Jim Watt,
-
I've managed to find something for Bellew/Cleverly. Is there any better quality going about? Full screen aint quite so good this time around.

It wasn't aimed at you, sorry. I had the same problem at the first Barras show. I couldn't see a thing, having to rely on the shitty screens.
Â
For someone to demand you don't ask for clarity on the set up due to the potential for a shit view, is a bit precious.
