Yep Singer dropped out of X Men 3, and Brett Rattner took over and almost single-handedly killed the franchise. Wolverine Origins was pretty bad, but I thought The Wolverine was quite good.

If Daniel Bryan was still in the main event picture, it would have been a cracking heel move to have him win the vote and The Authority overrule the fan vote because its Bryan.

Isn't Gunner's real name something awesome like Phil Shatter or something similar, much better name than Gunner!

So the air horn/DJ thing with Xema Ion is an excellent addition to the Bro-mans act. Makes them seem like such wankers (as intended).

I imagine they could get away with scaling back to one a year, and just doing a huge build for Bound For Glory if they booked their feuds in the right way to build to a crescendo there, and possibly make some money, but their current model is not conducive to making that happen.

They really do need a complete re-fresh, which I'm hoping will happen at some stage soon. I really am pulling for TNA, if nothing else so there is a viable alternative (not a competitor, mind), because looking at the other options outside of WWE it's pretty slim pickings for a company that could fill that void.

My understanding is that the legislation in Connecticut has recently changed to allow the prescription use of medical marijuana. The law is different on it's use in every state, with many southern states still not allowing it for medical use. With WWE based in Connecticut I imagine these tow things are not coincidental, and this is to prevent their possibly being sued if a worker decides they want to get it on prescription, and WWE prohibits that in their contract.

That's just my understanding of it, I may be completely wrong.

Urgh, Dixie as a heel is such a dull re-tread of other authority angles, but with someone who can barely cut a promo. This has the potential to be Claire Lynch bad, presumably leading to some kind of AJ re-hashing the CM Punk post MITB 2011 walkout, due to his contract being near the expiry after winning the belt. (I'm just hypothesizing the worst thing I can think of immediately, it probably isn't where they're going with this at all).

The sooner Spike buys the company and re-brands it the better for me, feels like TNA is on its last legs, soon to be on it's arse.

Is there a weekly roundup show on over here anywhere? Am wanting to get into it properly after loving the tail end of the playoffs and the Superbowl last year, having only been a casual fan up to this point. So a Champions league weekly/MOTD style programme would be pretty useful if such a thing exists?

Cheers for the clarification Raid. Was one of only a few clear pics I could find of him wearing it, so I assumed it wasn't a regular feature in the long term.

Just watching the Best of MSG DVD set, and I noticed Bob Backlund's robe and towel combination for his match with Diesel in late 94 for the title looked awfully familiar, and very similar to Damien Sandow's robe.

After a bit of digging I managed to find a picture (and I presume given this was from an episode of Raw he was wearing this regularly, it must have escaped my memory). I'm sure this has probably been pointed out before, but it's a really nice little touch if this is in homage to Mr Backlund.

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious, but is just a cool little thing I'd not noticed before.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but I couldn't see it posted thus far. Had this in a bar in London a few months back, a really nice light number, very drinkable. Oh and an amazing name to boot!
