Tube travel tip: There's a white paint line at the edge of the platform in most places. Look for where it's lighter or even white. That's where the doors are.

I remember being furious when they repainted the line at Finsbury Park when I commuted through there. Years of tube knowledge gone in an instant. Shower of bastards!

I'll take a crap fold-down seat near the toilet if it's my best bet to be sat alone.

I initially read that wrong and agreed it's definitely one way to stop people sitting near you.

Not to drag things back around to Rock vs Reigns, and the scuttlebutt that it would be big enough to "not need the title" so we might see Orton vs Cody for the belt, which I'd hate...

If they have The Rock back and he'd do both Chamber AND Mania, I'd give a thought to arranging Rock vs Lesnar. It was the first draft for 30, why not do it at 40?

    Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes
    The Rock vs Brock Lesnar
    Seth Rollins vs CM Punk
    Gunther vs John Cena
    AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
    Logan Paul vs LA Knight
    Rhea Ripley vs Dominik Mysterio
    Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso
    Finn Balor vs Damian Priest
    Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre
KO & Sami going for the tag belts again, I don't care against whom

That'll do me. Yes, I know I said there was no need to do Styles vs Orton again but its the biggest match either could have without going cross-brand.

If Mercedes/Sasha is just prick teasing AEW, let's throw the Horsewomen four way in there too. If they have time to sign Andrade, get him in there with Rey. Fuck it, if they decide Jericho is not too problematic to sign, get him into chase "ICT number 10" from Gunther, do Cena vs Orton one last time for japes, put AJ with Rey.

    Wishful thinking, I know.

Charlotte's out of action for nine months, so that's off the cards for the foreseeable.

Tony has done a cracking job of promoting Jinder Vs Rollins. Now people will tune in to see whether they actually switch the title for the laugh.

Obviously they shouldn't actually put the title on Jinder, but a little "Dusty finish" situation, just briefly, would be hilarious off the back of this.

I don’t know about South London, but Crypt of the Wizard in Hackney will probably be worth visiting if you have the time

It's only 20 mins on the overground from New Cross Gate to Hoxton, and then a 5 min walk (if that) to COTW, so probably only a half hour round trip not including browsing time, so it's probably as close in some ways as wandering into the deepest, darkest boltholes of the Southrons. North of the river is always better.

In the first Undisputed Kingdom (a name I hate, btw)

It feels more egregious and lazy because there were plenty of other options available AND they've already used the "Undisputed" amalgamated with another group's name in AEW when they merged with The Elite for a bit. Also, The Devil's Kingdom was right there for the taking, and at least would have tied to the whole angle that created the group.

  7. Here's a few that probably won't happen,. but fuck it:

    • Goldberg has a match in AEW
    • Cena and Punk have a match
    • Sasha Banks goes back to WWE
    • Dustin Rhodes goes back to WWE for a final HOF run
    • Gunther wins a version of the world title in Berlin (Probably the Raw one)
    • Sheamus and Drew McIntyre BOTH jump to AEW
    • Swerve wins the AEW title before April.
  8. Lots of classics mentioned here, Spinal Tap, Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, these are all top drawer contenders in my mind.

If we are talking modern output, the lack of love for Popstar: Never Stop Stopping saddens me. A film I had no idea about beforehand, but one that once I watched, I could not stop laughing at even on re-watching many times.

Obviously it also depends on your stance on Andy Samberg who I appreciate, like a Will Ferrell can be a tiny bit divisive at points.

Not sure the trailer does it justice, and I wouldn't want to spoil it by posting anything else.

I know a couple of people who have worked with Rylan on separate occasions and both have confirmed he's absolutely sound and very funny. It's always nice when someone you want to be lovely turns out to be.

I was in a lift with Rylan once, he seemed proper sound from what I gathered in a very brief interaction/overhearing him chatting to someone else.

Daytime TV quiz host Rick Edwards. Seems dead sound and like he'd be fun company. Probably turn out to be a sex pest now.

He does a very enjoyable science podcast called Eureka if you enjoy his work. He seems pretty sound.

My default sleeping listening has been the World Service for a while. The dullest (most entertaining) BBC station of them all.

The World Service is superb, especially because it's global focus means it's coverage of news is less affected by popular opinion and/or government pressure from here, so it tends to be a bit more balanced than the news coverage from the mothership. Lots of great documentaries too.

    From Inside the Ropes...

According to a new report from Nick Hausman there is a "vibe" that Tony Khan and AEW are "in danger" of not being renewed by WBD on TBS OR TNT😲

Can you imagine the karmic energy if WWE takes the AEW slot on Turner due to Punk going to WWE, causing AEW to go under and WWE to snap up The Elite meaning he is once again colleagues with them? Delicious.

Obviously this isn't what is going to happen, or I want to see happen, but it would be hilarious. Tragic and terrible, but also hilarious.

  13. There's probably an argument that Punk has made more than a few mistakes along the way and has plenty to offer in terms of what not to do as much as anything. That itself could be invaluable for many of the  wrestlers who haven't had the opportunity to make their own mistakes yet.

It is gutting they didn't go with Double J. New Japan do it with Toru Yano in the G1; have a guy in the block who adds levity and gives the other wrestlers a break from wrestling so many back to back workrate-athons. With Lethal they're still doing the straight wrestling matches but they're lower quality, lower stakes and lower heat than the other matches in the block. They're not something different, they're just worse.

Jeff trying different flavours of shenanigans against each opponent would have been absolute gold.

This would have bern a great plan. Could even have leant into Jerry Jarrett's old territory being the Continental Wrestling Alliance and how its Jeff's birthright (tenuous, but he's definitely have been able to make it work).

    Mate, he is.

I have time for Wenger, Emery, erm Bruce Rioch, so it's not an Arsenal thing. He's just a nobhead, and I'd think that if he was managing Rotherham.

    Fair enough.

On a completely unrelated note, I think Ange Postecoglou is a prick and his "aww shucks we're just trying to play football" facade is completely false. Definitely not a Spurs thing though, I had great time for George Graham, Christian Gross and Harry Redknapp and I'd think that if he was managing Burton Albion.
