  1. I was a little underwhelmed. The crowd was flat, no title changes and very little buzz going in obviously hurt......plus I really wanted Will Ospraey to pull off an upset - and I thought it was going to happen as no other titles changed hands earlier in the show! Also, the rest of the card seemed pretty thin as they put all of the Bullet Club in 1 match.

On the flip side......some good matches, Trent Barreta looked awesome, no duds, plus both main events were great. Im happy they are finally going to put Matt Taven in the main event picture.

It's not a bad card Lethal vs Ospreay will be good... punishment vs sabin could be alright and the tables match with the main dude Silas Young could be good fun.. And the briscoes vs kaz and Daniels should a Barn burner

True. But the lack of hype speaks volumes. Nobody is talking about this show

Those recent ROH shows in the UK looked terribly attended Doncaster especially and Edinburgh looked to be in a tiny venue. Couldn't tell what York hall was like. Was this the case or am I only seeing preshow photos?

Perhaps with everything else going on in UK wrestling it wasn't the best time to cram in more ROH shows after the others a few months back

Probably right. Crystal Palace had a great crowd in the spring.

I also think the international cup wasn't a draw and no NJPW talent didn't help either. Plus they returned to the same 3 cities as let time.

    Hopefully lessons learnt.

Well for me personally really enjoy roh it's the best American product out there.. But Tna is coming along nicely.. but I love new japan the wrestling, the characters and the overall performance and presentasion is amazing

    Agreed

  5. Hogan to TNA.....I did forget about that one...

But today's news is big. The company has huge momentum. And great financial backing. It will be interesting to see where this goes and whether they can hold onto the the likes of the Bucks, Omega, Cody and Scurll when their contracts are up

  6. I can't believe the ROH thread isn't front and centre today. The news they sold out the Garden is probably the most significant event in wresting outside WWE since the final Nitro. First All In, now this.

A successful streaming service, hot product, the partnership with NJPW and a wrestling fan base sick of what McMahon is churning out and seeking something different.

Sinclair is not short of cash. If this milestone news today encourages a significant cash investment from Sinclair, we could have a geniune #2 promotion on our hands, that isn't considered a "super indy", but a WWE alternative.

    Game on!

I for one have got rid of the WWE Network and am an Honorclub subscriber.

Honor for all is this Friday night/Saturday morning at 12:30 am on honor club I'm looking forward to the sky vs punishment for thr TV title as well as the Briscoes vs the bucks vs the addiction should be a fun show

Agreed. Really looking forward to Flip v Aldis too.

  8. I thought the show was amazing top to bottom. Although I agree the wrong person own the main event....and they were clearly over running. Although Adam Page not winning annoyed me more than Dalton retaining.

I'm really interested to know what's going on with Impact / ROH. Definitely something...... for the Impact belt to be front and centre in that Aries / King match. Given that new WWE TV deal, an Impact / ROH merger with both Anthem and Sinclair holding equity could be the only way they can retain talent and compete...... I'm convinced something is going on behind the scenes.

If I were to sub to the $9.99 per month 'Honour Club', would I get access to the older events?

Unsure about old PPVS. The 9.99 deal doesn't include live PPVS (only 50% discount). The VIP package includes all PPVS and all historic PPVS and all house shows live. That's under £100 for the year.

Cody only gets the nwa title match if he wins the ROH title first, it’s the condition of the match. Looks like he’s taking the nwa belt as nwa and ROH have been doing some things together

Not true, Cody gets his shot at NWA belt regardless. But if he wins the ROH strap, he has to put up also against Aldis at All In.

Pretty likely I'd say. Castle has followed the ROH route of being really over, and then cooling off hugely after winning the belt. His reign feels pretty directionless, whereas with Cody at least he's promoting your championship and putting it into the limelight. Plus he's been working hurt for ages so hopefully if he drops the belt they have him take some time off.

The problem is that it seems so, so likely that that is what they will do. To the point that my money is on Scurll picking up the belt. It would allow Dalton Castle the time out he needs, but would further add to the bad blood within Bullet Club story line.

I'm calling it for Marty Scurll.
