Yeah, imagine that show will be pretty rowdy. The Y Plas room in Uni is a quality venue too.

Yeah I either need to hope my disability card turns up before Tuesday ideally so that I can sort out access viewing, or just accept that I'm either standing at the back or sides.

Will be fantastic to see a lively crowd in Wales though, last few shows I've done there the numbers haven't been great and its felt like it could have had more oomph.

  2. Decided to get myself a resale ticket for The Blackout in Cardiff Thursday rather than seeing them in Birmingham.

Just feels like it'd be a more special show back in Wales after being away for so long.

Genuinely super excited to see them. While I've been a fan since the days I was slightly shorter and much less of a gut, I always figured I'd missed the chance seeing them live after finally feeling comfortable enough going to gigs again, so getting to see them at Download last year and now at Cardiff this week is ace.

  4. Absolutely loved last night, Mayday Parade will always be that band for me and enjoyed it so much it made me decide to jiggle some holiday space around and book myself a reticket for The Blackout in Cardiff next Thursday as I think the atmosphere will be better than the Birmingham gig.

Then essentially festival season starts for me so it's a good but busy few months coming up.

Lorna Thomas of Skinny Lister draws my eye in the same way Louise Wener did - pretty, but something about her just rings every damn bell and I don't know what it is.

The fact the band is always mad levels of fun, drinking moonshine and having a laugh really adds to her "isn't she lovely" vibe.

  7. It seems a dismal decision, which is something I seem to have said more this last few weeks about wrestling than usual.

D'Amore steadied the ship, got a lot of goodwill back and has a very astute wrestling brain. All they've done here is save some cash having one president do more than one job with absolutely no background in wrestling. D'Amore knew how to find talent, is this where the pool starts to run a little dry again straight away?

I meant bravery in numbers. Well he seems too with you getting involved.

As someone who in the last year spent time in a psychiatry unit through how low they felt about themselves, their worth in life and their perception amongst others I hope you find peace.

You seem like your soul purpose within this forum is to hurt and negate people, bring them down and make them feel like shit.

I truly hope you find some happiness, maybe away from here because you currently just show as someone hurting by life.

    Let people care

  9. Roman calling Seths title a losers bracket title or along those lines hasn't helped.

It just makes Cody as a character look like he's finding an easy out to win, though I guess they'll spin it as "I'll show you who's a loser" but still your main rival of the last two years has told you to not settle for second best and in response you've sent his older cousin to sort him out.

  10. Theyre getting the Wyatt vs Orton treatment, that crowd is gonna cruicfy them, chant Cody throughout enough to drown out commentary and boo whoever wins/loses/tears a pec.

They've shat the bed and in the process shat all over the bedroom.

  11. At this stage I think I'd rather see Cody vs Ilja than Cody vs half leg Seth.

Absolutely horrible decision but based off the press it's already getting it'll be great for hiding from the Vince news for a few months. Have Rock do all the late night shows with contractual obligations that no questions can be asked about VKM, job's a good 'un, HHH has got them out the fire.

He'll get booed out the arena at WrestleMania, Michael Cole will try and spin it as fans believing Roman is the head of the table. Postman Pat will be praying college football starts again soon to get himself away from all of it.

Roman wins after Solo or an Uso interferes and we go back to the last save point before we try to finish the story again.

I do feel for Cody, if he hadn't torn his pec, he'd have won the belt at MSG, then if he hadn't had Roman closing in on some records he'd have won it at WrestleMania, now if it wasn't for The Rock having to save the company's PR image he'd have won it at this one.

Let's get ready for Royal Rumble 2025 folks, Cody at number 1 to set some other records.

Edit: Credit where its due though, the Barley story arc has been fantastic and it was some stellar character work from her last night. Not an immediate face turn but hurt and angry enough at her close friend shes going to take her belt and kick her head in at WrestleMania. Stratton as a first challenger works great too.

  12. So I've jumped on the hype train for The Last Dinner Party. It's something that absolutely should not appeal at all to me but I bloody love it.

I can't even begin to explain why I love their sound so much, it's not anthemic in a sense but it is something that just builds layers on layers throughout.

It felt better to put it in here than the rock thread, because while there's elements to it, the whole album release feels like an event or a movie within itself, that it stands alone as a singular entity.

I love Shyyyyy Daaaaad as well, but this time had to vote deathrey - she's a good presence on this forum.

@SuperBacon thanks, appreciate the vote of confidence. Think I'm OK with being the Jake "The Snake" Roberts of the forum at this point though.

I think my long term game is to let everyone else win and then get an honorary award, the Oscars committee do it and this place is predominantly less white and offensive.

Also, Shy Dad love you mate, but I'm not ever referring to you or using your new name. It has proper upset me 😆

If anything it'll make my friends laugh more that people still refer to me as a Dad in a little corner of the Internet.

But how can you not love Ralph Wiggum? 😆

A quick update, I have been suffering with flu for the last week which triggered a searing migraine for the last few days, so I don't think my eyes could have coped with WWE's production values.

I am off on Thursday and will ensure the results will be posted on that evening by the latest.

Don't rush yourself pal, get yourself well first and watch something a little less mundane. Just have a safe relax.

Now the option to change is out there again and assuming Moo is knocking about in a few weeks, I’m going to put the winners of all positive awards into a digital hat and whoever comes out will get to change the username of one of the negative award winners.

Obviously, nothing offensive or inappropriate but as long as the Mods are sound with it, I’ll line it up.

Rewarding good behaviour with a chance to mess with the naughty kids. It's like being back at school again. I love it 😅

Wade Barrett and Cory Graves as the two man commentary team seems an odd move for Smackdown. Not sure who's filling which role there.

I feel Graves is probably going to be the Michael Cole to Barretts McAfee. Graves can be serious, gives off that he knows his stuff, Barrett is very much in that mould of still being the character he was when he was active in ring.
