    Greedy fucker.  I salute you.

Finished every bite. One of the old boys applauded at the end. Worst and best decision of my life.

  2. I once again learnt today that Kevin Costner had plans to cast Princess Diana in the Bodyguard 2.

I feel like the only reason I originally learnt that was someone on here must have posted about it years back but when I was doing some movie history reading this morning and asked myself why they never even attempted a straight to VHS Bodyguard 2 it popped back in my brain.

  3. Gillingham couldn't even shed their away tickets and there's 4000 Hereford fans Saturday. The worst week to give me but I think it's possible.

  4. I got ever so slightly hungry at work yesterday and figured only this place would be proud of how much indigestion I had after.

5 bacon, 5 sausage, 6 hash browns, 4 eggs, 2 (4) slices of toast and three portions of beans.

It's always funny when the old boys in the bar see a small 5 foot 7 geeky looking guy wolf down food for fun.

I don’t think the 90 days are up for the latest batch of main roster WWE releases.

I wouldn’t have a clue about any WWE talent beyond the biggest names, but there’s usually a Steve Maclin or two out there begging to be given the Impact career rehab.

The schedule is there for guys like Dolph and Shelton Benjamin to come in and have an easier payday but remain on TV.

Rick Boogz could have a fantastic holiday camp cheese feud with Johnny Swinger and Dirty Dango too before seeing if he has more promise.

  8. Seeing Finnish metal band Lost Society in Wolves tomorrow.

Not sure what to expect but it's a chance to scope out new gig venues, see something a little different to my usual sound and get out of Hereford for an evening.

Spotify listening makes me think I'll enjoy it, plus a free ticket as my mate didn't want to go by herself can't be argued with.

Edit: A mixture of alcohol withdrawal fatigue, Storm Babet and doing 15 hours at work yesterday and needing to be in early tomorrow has put a stop to this.

Next gig is supposed to be next month with Wonder Years if I feel any better then as I've felt horrid the last 3 weeks.

I’d be very surprised if they both ended up playing Download unless you put them on different days, but even then I reckon you’d only get one of them added to the bill if at all.

And that would no doubt be Pumpkins I expect.

Glad I'm booking a solid week and a bit off for Download week for a night in Birmingham at least.

  10. Having watched the Jimmy Saville drama after some posts in here and a few friends raving about the casting, I have to echo a lot of the same thoughts.

Coogan continues to be in a way not underrated but not given his flowers for his character work throughout. We talk of people like Daniel Day Lewis in films being so method and becoming so entwined in his roles but someone like Coogan who mastered characters like Alan Partridge and continues to shine in different genres but always around biopic style casting, the effort and intricacies he puts in is magnificent.

Is it in poor taste for him to be nominated for a BAFTA in a way celebrating how well he played a monster?

The episodes did somewhat drag though and while the real awful moments stood out and you felt uneasy throughout, it would have been better being done as just a one episode 2 hour biopic. In a generation of binge watching though, it would have been common sense for myself to not watch 4 hours of the life of Jimmy Saville and not feel uneasy after it.

  11. I'm still not quite over the Ireland game Saturday.

It says something that 17 matches undefeated and I still thought we'd go into the game as outsiders because New Zealand show up 3 times every 4 years when they need to, but that final 10 minutes was gut punch after gut punch that Ireland just couldn't find a way through.

It's been a bloody good tournament though outside of some dodgy bunkers. Annoyingly England still being in means my work load next weekend continues to be huge but when the crickets as bad as it's been and the footballs as placid, at least one sport going well is good for the hospitality trade.

The first of something always draws better due to the nolvelty factor, but announcing the first Royal Quest show 9 months ahead of time rather than 6 weeks ahead of time will have helped as well, certainty for any fans that have to travel/stay over

    This is key I think.

There was no way I was going to be able to put a holiday request in and find suitable travel and accommodation and sort tickets all in one go so short on time and I expect the same for many others. Hopefully the next time around is in a better time frame as it is something I really want to experience live with a bit of better planning.

  18. Part of me just has this image of Juice Robinson and Toni Storm sitting at home thinking of new ways to become even more outlandish and insane while finding the entire thing hilarious.

Honestly I can't believe two people who were seen as just not having charisma, or enough of it to justify their position have become two of my favourite people to see be named on a card. It's fantastic the effort they've put in to find their niche.
